Claims (10)
- KTaO3, KNbO3 및 KTa1-xNbxO3(0<x<1)의 적어도 한쪽의 재료로 이루어지는 기판과,상기 기판 상에 K1-yLiyTa1-xNbxO3(0<x<1, 0<y<1) 및 KTa1-xNbxO3(0<x<1)의 적어도 한쪽의 재료로 이루어지는 코어 도파로와,상기 코어 도파로에 비해 굴절률이 낮은 K1-yLiyTa1-xNbxO3을 클래드층(clad layer)으로 한 삼차원 광도파로와,상기 삼차원 광도파로의 하부 클래드층과 상기 기판의 계면, 혹은 상부 클래드층의 표면의 적어도 한쪽에 형성된 코어 도파로에 전계를 가하기 위한 전극과,상기 삼차원 광도파로에 의해 구성되고, 보내져 온 광신호를 수취하기 위한 입력단을 가지는 제1 입력 광도파로와, 상기 제1 입력 도파로에서 분기하는 제2 출력 광도파로와 제3 출력 광도파로를 포함하고, 상기 제2 출력 광도파로 및 상기 제3 출력 광도파로에 상기 전극을 구비한 Y분기형 도파로를 구비하고,상기 전극은 상기 코어 도파로를 진행하는 광과 평행한 방향에 전계를 인가하도록 양극과 음극이 교대로 배열된 콤형 전극이고,DC 바이어스를 동작 전에 인가해 두고, 전환 포트의 전극에만 더 구동 전압을 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전극은, 광로의 변환을 위해서, 상기 Y분기형 도파로의 상부 클래드 표면, 혹은 하부 클래드층과 상기 기판의 계면 한편 상부 클래드층의 표면의 양쪽에서, Y분기의 근방에서의 제2 출력 광도파로와 제3 출력 광도파로에 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전극에 의한 전계 인가 방향은 상기 삼차원 광도파로에 대하여 소정의 결정축 방향인 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 Y분기형 도파로를 3개 내지 5개 트리(tree) 상태로 연결한 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 KTa1-xNbxO3 및 K1-yLiyTa1-xNbxO3의 적어도 한쪽의 온도를, 상기 KTa1-xNbxO3 및 K1-yLiyTa1-xNbxO3의 적어도 한쪽에 대한 정방정으로부터 입방정으로의 상전이 온도 근방으로 제어하는 온도 콘트롤러를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 Y분기형 도파로는, 1개 입력을 2개 출력으로 분기하는 구성이고, 한편, 상기 전극에 인가하는 전압을 바꾸어 분기비를 제어하는 기능을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 1개 입력을 2개 출력으로 분기하는 구성은 광 방향성 결합기인 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서,분기비 제어를 위한 전극을 적어도 1개 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
- 제8항에 있어서,단일 기판 상에 매트릭스 형상으로 상기 광스위치가 복수 개 집적되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광스위치.
