Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 액정 이미저에서 스파클 결함을 감소시키는 방법으로서:비디오 구동 신호를 감마보정하는 단계;상기 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호를 밝기 레벨을 나타내는 연속적인 디지털 샘플로서 생성하는 단계; 및상기 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호의 상기 연속적인 디지털 샘플의 일부 또는 전부를 슬루율(slew rate) 제한하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 감마보정 단계 이전에,상기 비디오 구동 신호를 디인터레이싱(deinterlacing)하는 단계와;상기 디인터레이싱된 비디오 신호를 컬러공간 변환하는 단계; 및상기 컬러공간 변환된 비디오 신호를 프레임속도 곱하는 단계를더 포함하고,상기 생성 단계는 적색 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호 성분을 적색 밝기 레벨을 나타내는 연속적인 디지털 샘플로서, 청색 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호 성분을 청색 밝기 레벨을 나타내는 연속적인 디지털 샘플로서, 그리고 녹색 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호 성분을 청색 밝기 레벨을 나타내는 연속적인 디지털 샘플로서 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 액정 이미저에서 스파클 결함을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 상기 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호 성분의 전부 또는 일부를 슬루율 제한하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 액정 이미저에서 스파클 결함을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호 성분에 대해 각각의 슬루율 제한값을 독립적으로 선택하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 액정 이미저에서 스파클 결함을 감소시키는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 룩업 테이블 내의 디지털 값으로부터 상기 감마보정된 비디오 구동 신호 성분을 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 액정 이미저에서 스파클 결함을 감소시키는 방법.
