Claims (8)
- 기재(8)와, 이 기재(8) 상에 형성된 피막(9)을 구비하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구(1)로서,상기 피막(9)은 TiCN으로 이루어지는 제1 피막(10)과, α형 Al2O3로 이루어지는 제2 피막(11)을 포함하며,상기 제1 피막(10)은 상기 기재(8)와 상기 제2 피막(11) 사이에 위치하고,상기 제2 피막(11)은 날끝 능선부(4)로부터 경사면(2) 방향과 여유면(3) 방향으로 각각 적어도 0.5 ㎜의 거리를 두고 넓어진 영역(A1)에서 압축 응력(S1)을 갖고, 상기 영역(A1) 이외의 영역(A2)에서 인장 응력(S2)을 갖는 동시에, 상기 압축 응력(S1)과 상기 인장 응력(S2)이 이하의 수식 I에 의해 규정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.400 MPa≤ |S1-S2|≤ 3500 MPa [수식 I]
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 피막(10)은 인장 응력을 갖거나, 또는 인장 응력이 해방되어 실질적으로 응력을 갖고 있지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 피막(10)은 날끝 능선부(4)로부터 경사면(2) 방향 과 여유면(3) 방향으로 각각 적어도 0.5 ㎜의 거리를 두고 넓어진 영역(A1)에서 인장 응력(SS1)을 갖고, 상기 영역(A1) 이외의 영역(A2)에서 인장 응력(SS2)을 갖는 동시에, 상기 인장 응력(SS1)과 상기 인장 응력(SS2)이 이하의 수식 II에 의해 규정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.0≤ |SS1-SS2|≤ 500 MPa [수식 II]
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 피막(10)은 종횡비가 3 이상인 컬럼형 구조를 갖는 동시에, 그 평균 입경이 0.05 ㎛ 이상 1.5 ㎛ 이하인 결정 조직을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 피막(10)은 2 내지 20 ㎛의 두께를 갖고, 상기 제2 피막(11)은 0.5 내지 20 ㎛의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 피막(10)은 산소를 더 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 피막(10)은 원소 주기율표의 IVa족 원소, Va족 원소, VIa족 원소, Si, Y, B 및 S로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 1종의 원소를 더 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 피막(11)은 원소 주기율표의 IVa족 원소, Va족 원소, VIa족 원소, Si, Y, B 및 S로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 적어도 1종의 원소를 더 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
