- 매트릭스 형상으로 배치된 복수의 화소부와,표시 데이터에 따른 신호 전압을 상기 각 화소부에 부여하기 위한 데이터선 구동 회로와,상기 화소부의 행을 주사하기 위한 주사선 구동 회로와,상기 화소부의 행에 삼각파 신호를 부여하기 위한 표시 제어 회로를 포함하고,상기 화소부는, 상기 신호 전압과 상기 삼각파 신호를 비교하여, 상기 신호 전압과 상기 삼각파 신호와의 비교 결과에 따라, 해당 화소부의 1프레임 기간 내의 발광 시간을 제어하는 인버터 회로를 갖고,상기 삼각파 신호는, 1프레임 기간 내에서 상기 삼각파 신호의 전압 레벨이 일정해지는 기간과 삼각 형상을 형성하는 기간을 갖고,상기 화소부는, 상기 삼각파 신호가 일정해지는 기간에 비발광인 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간은 1수평 기간보다 큰 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간은, 상기 1프레임 기간 중 수직 귀선 기간 이외의 표시 유효 기간 이상인 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간은, 상기 1프레임 기간의 10% 이상 60% 미만인 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간은 가변하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 표시 제어 회로는, 상기 표시 데이터가 정지 화상인지 동화상인지에 따라, 상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간을 변경하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 표시 제어 회로는, 상기 표시 데이터가 정지 화상인 경우에는, 상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간을 작게 하고, 상기 표시 데이터가 동화상인 경우에는, 상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 일정해지는 기간을 크게 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 삼각파 신호는, 상기 삼각파 신호의 상기 삼각 형상을 형성하는 기간에서, 점차로 작아진 후에 점차로 커지는 표시 장치.
