Abstract

본 발명은 단열이 우수하고 가공이 용이한 스티로폼(20)을 이용하여 원하는 바 입체적 형상을 손쉽게 구현할 수 있는 장식용 입체패널에 관한 것이다.
종래의 입체적인 장식용 마감재는 목재를 이용 한다거나, 자연석(또는 인조석)을 벽체에 붙이는 방법이 사용되고 있으나, 일량이 많음은 물론 고가의 재료비와 소재의 가공이 어려운 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명은 종래의 장식용 마감의 문제점을 극복하고, 동시에 장식용 마감 소재의 다변화를 이루고자 창안된 것으로, 이러한 목적을 위해 보강심재(12)를 갖는 금속판(10)을 스티로폼(20)의 이면에 부착하고, 스티로폼(20)의 표면에는 폴리가드(30), 규사(31), 폴리가드(30), 프라이머(32) 및 채색부(33)을 차례로 시공한 장식용 입체패널을 제공하고자 한다.

본 발명은 단열이 우수하고 가공이 용이한 스티로폼(Styrofoam)을 이용하여 원하는 바 입체적 형상을 손쉽게 구현할 수 있는 장식용 입체패널에 관한 것이다. 스티로폼은 단열이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 경량이어서 운반이 용이한 장점이 있으나, 내구성이 취약하여 쉽게 파손되는 단점이 있다.
그러나 취약한 내구성은 오히려 가공이 용이하다고 설명될 수 있는 것이며, 경량의 특성상 쉽게 이동 할 수 있으므로 입체적 형상 예를 들면 돌출된 기둥의 형상이나, 글씨 및 음각·양각이 조화를 이루는 부조(浮彫)작업을 쉽게 할 수 있으므로 입체적 형상의 패널을 가공하기에 적합하다 할 것이다.
일단, 입체적인 부조작업을 마친 스티로폼은 장식용 패널로써 사용되기 위해서는 내구성의 추후 부여를 필요로 하는바, 이러한 내구성은 보강심재를 갖는 절곡된 금속판을 스티로폼 이면에 부착하는 것과, 폴리가드와 규사 등을 스티로폼의 표면에 도포하는 것에 의해서 이루어진다.
종래의 입체적인 장식용 마감은 목재를 이용 한다거나, 자연석(또는 인조석)을 벽체에 붙이는 방법이 사용되고 있으나, 일량이 많음은 물론 고가의 재료비와 소재의 가공이 어려운 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명은 종래의 장식용 마감의 문제점을 극복하기 위해 창안된 것이며, 동시에 장식용 마감 소재의 다변화를 이루고자 창안된 것이다.
이러한 목적을 위해 보강심재를 갖는 금속판을 스티로폼의 이면에 부착하고, 스티로폼의 표면에는 폴리가드, 규사, 폴리가드, 프라이머 및 채색부을 차례로 시공한 장식용 입체패널을 제공하고자 한다.
이하, 본 발명의 목적을 달성할 수 있는 바람직한 실시예의 기술구성 및 효과를 첨부된 도면을 참고하여 설명하면 다음과 같다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 장식용 입체패널의 분리 사시도로서, 도 1에서와 같이 다수의 절곡부(11)를 갖는 금속판(10)이 구비되고, 금속판(10)에는 스티로폼(20)에 삽입하여 스티로폼(20)을 지지하고 내구성을 높이고자 보강심재(12)가 부착된다.
상기 절곡부(11)는 금속판(10)의 구조성능을 향상시키기 위한 것으로, 동일 소재 동일 두께를 갖는 금속판(10)의 편평부와 절곡부(11)의 강도를 비교해 볼 때, 인장시험, 압축시험 및 휨시험 등에서 절곡부(11)가 편평부보다 높은 강성을 나타내고 있다.
이러한 절곡부(11)의 우수성으로 인해 두께가 얇은 금속판(10)을 사용할 수 있어서 제조단가를 절감하는 효과가 있다.
스티로폼(20)의 중앙부에는 도 1에서와 같이 보강심재(12)가 삽입될 수 있도록 삽입공(21)이 형성되고, 사방 측면에는 배수홈(22)이 형성된다.
이 배수홈(22)은 본 발명이 외벽재 또는 지붕재로 시공될 경우, 빗물의 내부 침투를 방지하기 위한 것으로, 일단 침투된 빗물은 배수홈(22)을 따라 아래로 아래로 흘러 외부로 배출되므로 빗물의 내부 침투가 불가능하게 된다.
종래에는 빗물 침투를 방지하고자, 조립된 패널과 패널 사이에 차수재를 시 공하였으나, 본 발명에서는 차수재의 기능을 갖는 배수홈(22)을 패널 자체에 형성한 것이 특징이다.
도 3a, 3b는 본 발명에 따른 장식용 입체패널을 벽체에 고정하기 위한 탄성슬리브(15)의 사시도 및 대표 단면도로서, 도 3a, 3b에서 보듯이 벽체에 박힌 앵커볼트(17)에 암나사가 형성된 탄성슬리브(Sleeve)(15)가 장착된다.
탄성슬리브(15)의 외주면은 몽키스패너(Monkey spanner)와 같은 공구를 이용하여 쉽게 조일 수 있도록 육각형태이고, 선단은 전·후로 사면(斜面)(16a)이 형성된 고정머리(16)로 구성된다.
탄성슬리브(15)가 삽입되는 보강심재(12)에는 고정머리(16)가 걸리게 되는 걸림구멍(14)이 축방향을 따라 다수 형성된다.
상기 탄성슬리브(15)의 고정머리(16)는 보강심재(12) 내부로의 삽입시 안쪽으로 오므라진 다음 보강심재(12)의 걸림구멍(14)에 탄성 복원되어 걸리도록 2개로 분할 형성하며, 고정머리(16)의 전·후에는 사면(16a)을 형성하여 입체패널의 벽체로의 결합 및 제거가 용이하도록 한다.
한편, 보강심재(12)에는 걸림구멍(14)이 축방향을 따라 다수 성형되어 있으므로 고정할 벽체면의 상태 즉, 기운정도 또는 울퉁불퉁한 정도 등의 상태에 구애없이 입체패널을 벽체면에 밀착하여 시공할 수 있게 된다.
참고로, 스티로폼(20)은 발포 폴리스티렌(Expanded polystyrene)의 보통 명칭을 말하며 영문의 머리글자를 따서 EPS라고도 한다.
스티로폼(20)은 희고 가벼우며, 내수성(耐水性), 단열성, 방음성 및 완충성 등이 우수한 데다, 가공이 용이하여 건축재로 많이 사용되고 있다.
본 발명의 특징은 가벼우면서도 가공성이 우수한 스티로폼(20)을 이용하여 음각·양각이 조화를 이루는 부조(浮彫)작업을 한 후, 스티로폼(20)의 취약점인 내구성을 보강하고자 스티로폼(20)의 표면에 폴리가드(30)와 규사(31) 등을 도포하여 스티로폼(20)을 급속으로 경화(硬化)시키고 스티로폼(20)의 이면에는 보강심재(12)가 부착된 절곡부(11)를 갖는 금속판(10)을 부착한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명의 특징적 단면구조는 도 2a에 나타나 있다.
도 2a의 단면도와 같이 금속판(10)과 결합된 스티로폼(20)의 표면은 동 도면의 원내확대도와 같이 폴리가드(30)(Polygarde), 규사(31), 폴리가드(30), 프라이머(32) 및 채색부(33)가 차례로 중첩되면서 경화가 이루어진다.
이러한 경화 작업전에 스티로폼(20)의 입체적 형상 작업이 수행되는 바, 이 작업은 수작업을 통해서도 가능하지만, 대량 생산을 위해서는 CAD(Computer Aided D1esign)작업을 통해 기성품 및 새로운 제품의 각 요소를 수치화하고 도면화 하여 CNC공작기계(Computerized Numerically Controlled Machine, 컴퓨터 수치제어 공작기계)와의 연동을 통해 다양한 입체적 형태의 가공이 자동으로 이루어진다.
스티로폼(20)의 입체적 형태의 가공이 마무리 되면, 전술한 바와같이 그 표면에 폴리가드(30)(Polygarde), 규사(31), 폴리가드(30), 프라이머(32) 및 채색부(33)가 순차적으로 도포된다.
상기 폴리가드(30)는 무발포성 폴리우레탄(Polyurethane) 코팅제로서, 급속 경화를 위해 도포한다.
폴리가드(30)가 도포된 후 그 위에 규사(31)를 흩뿌리게 되는데 규사(31)는 스티로폼(20)에 강도를 부여하기 위함이다. 또한, 규사(31) 위에 다시 폴리가드(30)를 도포하여 작은 알갱이 형태의 규사(31)가 이탈되어 떨어지는 것을 방지한다.
폴리가드(30) 위에는 프라이머(32)를 도포하는 데, 프라이머(32)는 도포면을 거칠게 하여 추후 채색부(33) 작업시 색채의 양감 및 질감이 잘 표현되도록 함과 동시에 채색면(33)이 쉽게 박피되지 않도록 방지한다.
도 2b는 본 발명에 따른 장식용 입체패널의 다른 단면도로서, 본 발명이 천정재로 사용되거나, 벽면재로 사용될 경우 등기구나 벽걸이 장식품의 거치가 용이하도록 보강심재(12)를 스티로폼(20)의 외부로 돌출되도록 길게 제작하고 보강심재(12)의 외주면에 나사부(13)를 형성하여 등기구 또는 벽걸이구의 나사 결합을 할 수 있도록 하였다.
도 4a, 4b는 본 발명인 장식용 입체패널에 타일(41)의 부착을 설명하기 위한 것으로서, 전술한 바와같이 스티로폼(20)을 CNC공작기계를 이용하여 입체적 형상으로 제작하고 그 표면을 경화 한 후 다양하게 채색할 수도 있으나, 다양한 문양의 타일(41)을 본 발명의 외부면에 부착할 수도 있는 것이다.
타일(41)의 부착을 위해서는 도 4a의 원내확대도와 같이 타일(41)을 끼워 넣을 수 있는 걸림턱(40)을 스티로폼(20)에 형성하고, 타일(41)의 뒷면에 접착제를 도포하여 걸림턱(40) 사이로 끼워 넣으면 완성된다.
또한, 도 4b는 타일(41) 부착의 또다른 실시예로서, 도 4a의 걸림턱(40) 대 신 타일(41)을 지지할 수 있는 걸림핀(42)을 스티로폼(20)에 설치하여 타일(41)이 걸림핀(42)에 걸리면서 부착될 수 있도록 하였다.
도 5a는 장식용 입체패널을 이용하여 입체 벽면을 만든 일실시예의 사시도이고, 도 5b는 장식용 입체패널을 이용하여 입체 기둥을 만든 일실시예의 사시도이다.
도 5a와 같이 스티로폼(20)을 CNC공작기계를 통해 입체적으로 절단한 다음 절곡부(11)를 갖는 금속판(10)과 결합한다. 이때 금속판(10)에 부착된 보강심재(12)의 길이는 돌출된 입체형상의 스티로폼(20)의 길이에 비례하도록 하여 돌출된 스티로폼(20)을 안정적으로 지지하도록 한다.
한편, 도 5b와 같이 반원형의 단면을 갖는 기둥을 접합하여 중공(中空)부가 형성된 원기둥으로 제작할 수도 있고, 기존의 원형 구조물을 감싸 리모델링 할 수도 있다.
이상에서 살펴본 바와 같이 본 발명을 통하여 다양한 입체 형상이 구현된 패널을 용이하게 제작할 수 있는데다, 공장에서 기 제작되므로 현장에서는 제작과정 중 발생되는 먼지나 냄새 등이 발생되지 않으며, 또한 현장 시공시 조립형태의 시공이 이루어지므로 공사 기간을 단축할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 구현된 입체 형상의 질감 및 양감 등의 채색을 다양하고 미려하게 부여할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Claims (3)

  1. 장식용 패널에 있어서,
    경량성과 가공성이 우수한 스티로폼(20)을 이용하여 다양한 입체적 형상을 만들되, 스티로폼(20)의 측면에는 빗물을 배출하기 위한 배수홈(22)을 형성하고, 스티로폼(20)의 이면에는 보강심재(12)가 부착된 절곡부(11)를 갖는 금속판(10)을 결합하며, 스티로폼(20)의 표면에는 폴리가드(30), 규사(31), 폴리가드(30), 프라이머(32) 및 채색부(33)를 순차적으로 도포하여 스티로폼(20)에 내구성을 부여한 것을 특징으로 하는 장식용 입체패널.
  2. 장식용 패널에 있어서,
    경량성과 가공성이 우수한 스티로폼(20)의 측면에는 빗물을 배출하기 위한 배수홈(22)을 형성하고, 스티로폼(20)의 표면에는 타일(41)을 끼워 넣을 수 있는 걸림턱(40)을 형성하며, 스티로폼(20)의 이면에는 보강심재(12)가 부착된 절곡부(11)를 갖는 금속판(10)을 결합하고, 스티로폼(20)의 표면에는 폴리가드(30), 규사(31), 폴리가드(30), 프라이머(32) 및 채색부(33)를 순차적으로 도포하여 스티로폼(20)에 내구성을 부여한 것을 특징으로 하는 장식용 입체패널.
  3. 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
    보강심재(12)에는 축방향을 따라 걸림구멍(14)이 다수 형성되되, 전·후 사면(16a)이 형성되고, 2개로 분할된 탄성슬리브(15)의 고정머리(16)가 상기 걸림구멍(14)에 걸리면서 입체패널이 벽체에 시공될 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 장식용 입체패널.
