Claims (4)
- 上面にすくい面が形成され、前記上面に対向する下面との間に側面となる逃げ面が形成され、前記すくい面側からみて、前記すくい面と前記逃げ面との交差稜線部に複数の山形状の切れ刃が形成されるねじ加工用の切削インサートであって、
前記切れ刃は、ねじの形状を転写するための少なくとも1つの仕上げ刃と、前記すくい面側からみて、前記仕上げ刃よりも小さな山形状に形成される少なくとも1つの荒刃とを備え、前記仕上げ刃の逃げ面は、第1逃げ面と、前記切れ刃の法線方向でみて、前記第1逃げ面より逃げ角が大きい第2逃げ面とを有し、前記すくい面から前記下面に向かって、前記仕上げ刃から前記第1逃げ面、前記第2逃げ面の順に連設されることを特徴とするねじ加工用の切削インサート。 - 前記仕上げ刃の前記山形状の山頂部の法線方向の断面でみて、前記山頂部の前記第1逃げ面の逃げ角は、2°以上15°以下の範囲とされ、かつ前記第2逃げ面の逃げ角が前記第1逃げ面の逃げ角よりも、1°以上10°以下の範囲で大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のねじ加工用の切削インサート。
- 前記すくい面側からみて、前記第1逃げ面と前記すくい面との交差稜線部は、前記仕上げ刃の全域に形成され、前記仕上げ刃と前記荒刃との境界部を越えて前記荒刃側へ延びており、前記荒刃側へ延びた端部における前記交差稜線部の接線が、前記端部における前記第2逃げ面と前記すくい面との交差稜線部に対して、前記切削インサートの外側に傾斜していることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のねじ加工用の切削インサート。
- 前記すくい面側からみて、前記荒刃側へ延びた端部における前記接線が、前記切削インサートの外側に傾斜している角度は、1°以上3°以下の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のねじ加工用の切削インサート。
