で表される化合物を有機溶媒中、好ましくはジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)、ジメチルイミダゾリジノン(DMI)またはN−メチルピロリドン (NMP)等の水溶性極性溶媒中、30〜160℃、好ましくは50〜140℃で、所望のR1〜R8に対応するハロゲン化化合物(例えば、R1〜R8が全てn−C4H9のときはn−C4H9Br)と反応させて、下記式(4)において全ての置換基(R1〜R8)が同一である化合物を得ることができる。また、R1〜R8のすべてが同じ置換基である化合物以外の下記式(4)の化合物を合成する場合(例えば後記化合物例No.19の化合物の前駆体)には、先に所定のモル数(例えば上記式(3)1モル当たり4モル)の試薬(n−C4H9Br)と反応させてR1〜R8のうち4つにn−ブチル基を導入した後、残りの置換基(iso−ブチル基)を導入するのに必要なモル数(例えば上記式(4)のアミン体1モル当たり4モル)の対応する試薬(iso−C4H9Br)と反応させることによって式(4)の化合物を合成することができる。例示したNo.19の化合物の製造方法と同様の方法により、前記以外の任意の化合物を得ることができる。
(1)樹脂に本発明のジイモニウム化合物を混練し、加熱成形して樹脂板またはフィルムを作製する方法、
(2)本発明のジイモニウム化合物と樹脂モノマーまたは樹脂モノマーの予備重合体とを重合触媒の存在下にキャスト重合し、樹脂板またはフィルムを作製する方法、
(3)本発明の樹脂組成物を含有する塗料を作製し、透明樹脂板、透明フィルム、または透明ガラス板等にコーティングする方法、
(4)本発明のジイモニウム化合物及び樹脂(粘着材)を含有させた樹脂組成物(粘着剤)を用いて、合わせ樹脂板、合わせ樹脂フィルム、または合わせガラス板を作製する方法、
(5)透明支持体の表面(透明支持体が上記機能を有する場合は、その機能を阻害しない側の表面)に、粘着剤を塗工する際に、本発明のジイモニウム化合物を粘着剤に含有させて粘着層を形成し保持させる方法、

このような、粘着層に本発明のジイモニウム化合物を含有せしめた本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターは、可視光線領域において非常に高い透過率を示し、アンチモンや砒素を含有せず、環境に優しく、近赤外線領域は幅広く吸収する優れた近赤外線吸収フィルターである。また従来のアンチモンを含有しない過塩素酸イオン、ヘキサフルオロリン酸イオン、ホウフッ化イオンを含有する近赤外線吸収フィルターに比べ安定性に優れている。さらに近赤外線吸収フィルターを作製する際に用いる溶剤への溶解度も十分である為、加工性にも優れている。特に、本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターは耐熱、耐湿熱、耐光性において非常に優れており、熱による分解などの反応を起こしにくいため、可視部の着色がほとんど起こらない近赤外線吸収フィルターを得る事ができる。この様な特徴を有していることから、本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターはこれ単独でも使用可能であるが、特にプラズマディスプレー用の光学フィルターに好適である。
DMF20部中にN,N,N’,N’−テトラキス(p−ジ(n−ブチル)アミノフェニル)−p−フェニレンジアミン4部を加え、60℃に加熱溶解した後、トリス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)メタン58.4%水溶液(スリーエム社製)8部を加えた。引き続いてDMF23.5部に溶解した硝酸銀1.6部を加え、30分間加熱撹拌した。不溶解分を濾別した後、反応液に水、メタノールを加え、析出した結晶を濾過、メタノール洗浄、水洗、乾燥し、表1における化合物番号No.1のジイモニウム化合物7部を得た。

(実施例2)
DMF36部中にN,N,N’,N’−テトラキス(p−ジ(iso−ブチル)アミノフェニル)−p−フェニレンジアミン6部を加え、60℃に加熱溶解した後、トリス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)メタン58.4%水溶液10.1部を加えた。引き続いてDMF35部に溶解した硝酸銀2.32部を加え、30分間加熱撹拌した。不溶解分を濾別した後、反応液に水を加え、析出した結晶を濾過、メタノール洗浄、水洗、乾燥し、表1における化合物番号No.2のジイモニウム化合物8.4部を得た。

(実施例3)
DMF20部中にN,N,N’,N’−テトラキス(p−ジ(n−プロピル)アミノフェニル)−p−フェニレンジアミン3部を加え、60℃に加熱溶解した後、トリス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)メタン52%水溶液6.7部を加えた。引き続いてDMF25部に溶解した硝酸銀1.4部を加え、30分間加熱撹拌した。不溶解分を濾別した後、反応液に水、メタノールを加え、析出した結晶を濾過、メタノール洗浄、水洗、乾燥し、表1における化合物番号No.26の化合物2部を得た。

DMF30部中にN,N,N’,N’−テトラキス(p−ジ(シアノプロピル)アミノフェニル)−p−フェニレンジアミン5部を加え、60℃に加熱溶解した後、トリス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)メタン58.4%水溶液7.8部を加えた。引き続いてDMF30部に溶解した硝酸銀2.1部を加え、30分間加熱撹拌した。不溶解分を濾別した後、反応液に水、メタノールを加え、析出した結晶を濾過、メタノール洗浄、水洗、乾燥し、表1における化合物番号No.3のジイモニウム化合物5.4部を得た。

(実施例5)
DMF20部中にN,N,N’,N’−テトラキス(p−ジエチルアミノフェニル)−p−フェニレンジアミン2部を加え、60℃に加熱溶解した後、トリス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)メタン58.4%水溶液4.5部を加えた。引き続いてDMF20部に溶解した硝酸銀1.1部を加え、30分間加熱撹拌した。不溶解分を濾別した後、反応液に水、メタノールを加え、析出した結晶を濾過、メタノール洗浄、水洗、乾燥し、表1における化合物番号No.21のジイモニウム化合物0.8部を得た。

(実施例5A)
DMF40部中にN,N,N’,N’−テトラキス(p−ジ(n−アミル)アミノフェニル)−p−フェニレンジアミン3部を加え、60℃に加熱溶解した後、トリス(トリフルオロメチルスルホニル)メタン52%水溶液5.3部を加えた。引き続いてDMF30部に溶解した硝酸銀1.1部を加え、60分間加熱攪拌した。不溶解分を濾別した後、反応液に水、メタノールを加え、析出した結晶を濾過、メタノール洗浄、水洗、乾操し、表1における化合物番号No.5の化合物1.9部を得た。

その他の化合物例についても上記各実施例と同様に、対応するフェニレンジアミン誘導体を対応するアニオンの存在下に酸化剤で酸化することにより、合成することができる。
MEK(メチルエチルケトン)0.94部に、前記実施例1で得られた表1における化合物番号No.1のジイモニウム化合物0.06部を溶解させた。この溶解液に、フォレットGS−1000(商品名、アクリル系樹脂、綜研化学社製、Tg:100〜110℃)3.4部を加え混合し、塗工用溶液を得た。これをコスモシャインA4300(商品名、ポリエステルフィルム、東洋紡績社製)に厚さ2〜4μmになるように塗工し、80℃で乾燥させて本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
バインダー樹脂としてのフォーレットGS−1000(商品名、アクリル系樹脂、綜研化学社製、Tg:100〜110℃)をアクリディックアLAL−115(商品名、アクリル系樹脂、大日本インキ工業社製、Tg:70℃)に、また、ジイモニウム化合物を化合物番号No.1のジイモニウム化合物から化合物番号No.2にそれぞれ変更する以外は実施例6と同様にして本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
評価試験(1)
(耐熱安定性試験)
実施例6及び実施例7で得られた各近赤外線吸収フィルターを100℃のオーブン中で480時間放置し、耐熱安定性試験を行った。試験前後に、そのフィルターをUV−3150(商品名、分光光度計、(株)島津製作所製)にて測定し、極大吸収波長における吸光度の変化より色素残存量の評価を行った。
評価試験(2)
(耐湿熱安定性試験)
評価試験(1)で用いた近赤外線吸収フィルターと同じフィルターを用いて次の通り耐湿熱安定性試験を行った。
下記表4に示す粘着剤用各原料を均一になるよう混合溶解した塗工液を、MRF−75(商品名、離型PETフィルム、三菱化学ポリエステルフィルム製、厚さ75μm)上にコンマコーターで0.8m/分、乾燥温度110℃により、粘着層の厚さが18μmになるように塗工して乾燥し、近赤外線とネオン光を吸収するフィルムを得た。このフィルムをカヤコートARS−D250−125(商品名、減反射フィルム、日本化薬製)を透明支持体として、減反射コート層の反対面に貼り合わせて35℃で2日間静置してエージングし、減反射性、近赤外線吸収性及びネオン光吸収性を有し、色調調整された本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。更にこのフィルターの離型フィルムを剥離し、粘着層を介して下記電磁波遮蔽フィルム1に貼合し、(減反射性透明支持体/NIR・Ne吸収・色調整粘着層)/電磁波遮蔽フィルム1、の構成を有する、製造が簡便で光学性能に優れたPDP用の光学フィルターを得た。
コスモシャインA−4100(商品名、PETフィルム、東洋紡績製、厚さ50μm、)を用い、その上に接着層となるニカフレックスSAF(商品名、エポキシ系接着シート、ニッカン工業製、20μm)を介して導電性材料である厚さ18μmで粗面を有す電解銅箔を、その粗面がエポキシ系接着シート側になるようにして、180℃、30kgf/cm2の条件で加熱ラミネートして接着させた。得られた銅箔付PETフィルムにフォトリソ工程(レジストフィルム貼合−露光−現像−ケミカルエッチング−レジストフィルム剥離)を経て、ライン幅25μm、ライン間隔500μmの銅格子パターンをPETフィルム上に形成し、銅格子パターン面に透明化処理として、下記表5の接着剤組成物を均一に混合した接着剤を乾燥塗布厚が約40μmになるように塗布、乾燥して透明性を有する電磁波遮蔽フィルム1を得た。
表4に示す粘着剤原料に防錆剤1H−ベンゾトリアゾール0.067部を加えてよく混合溶解した塗工液を使用する以外は、実施例8と同様の方法で減反射性、近赤外線吸収性及びネオン光吸収性を有し、防錆剤を含有する本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。このフィルターの離型フィルムを剥離し、粘着層を介して下記の電磁波遮蔽フィルム2のメッシュ面に貼合し、(減反射性透明支持体/NIR・Ne吸収・色調整粘着層)/電磁波遮蔽フィルム2、の構成を有する、製造が簡便で、透明性が良好で光学性能に優れたPDP用の光学フィルターを得た。
コスモシャインA−4100(商品名、PETフィルム、東洋紡績製、厚さ100μm)を用い、その上に接着層となる前記ニカフレックスSAFを介して導電性材料である厚さ18μmで粗面を有する電解銅箔を、その粗面がエポキシ系接着シート側になるようにして、180℃、30kgf/cm2の条件で加熱ラミネートして接着させた。得られた銅箔付PETフィルムにフォトリソ工程を経て、ライン幅25μm、ライン間隔500μmの銅格子パターンをPETフィルム上に形成して透明性が若干欠ける電磁波遮蔽フィルム2を得た。
前記表4に示す粘着剤原料のうちのアクリル系樹脂(商品名、PTR−2500T)をPTR−5500(商品名、有機酸無添加のアクリル酸樹脂、日本化薬製)に変更する以外は、実施例8と同様の方法で減反射性、近赤外線吸収性及びネオン光吸収性を有し、粘着層に有機酸を含有しない本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。このフィルターの離型フィルムを剥離し、粘着層を介して前記電磁波遮蔽フィルム2のメッシュ面に貼合し、(減反射性透明支持体/NIR・Ne吸収・色調整粘着層)/電磁波遮蔽フィルム2、の構成を有し、製造が簡便で光学性能に優れたPDP用の光学フィルターを得た。
前記表4に示す粘着剤用各原料において、ネオン光吸収剤、黄色色素及び青色色素を用いない他は同表におけるのと同じ原材料を使用し、また、カヤコートARS−D250−125の代わりにコスモシャインA4300(商品名、PETフィルム、東洋紡績製、厚さ100μm)を使用する以外は実施例8と同様の方法でPETフィルムを透明支持体とし、粘着層に化合物番号No.2のジイモニウム化合物を含有する本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
化合物番号No.2のジイモニウム化合物の代わりに化合物番号No.1のジイモニウム化合物を使用する以外は実施例11と同様の方法でPETフィルムが透明支持体で粘着層に化合物番号No.1のジイモニウム化合物を含有する本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
化合物番号No.2のジイモニウム化合物の代わりに、下記式(E)のジイモニウム化合物を使用する以外は実施例11と同様の方法でPETフィルムが透明支持体で、粘着層に式(E)のジイモニウム化合物を含有する比較用近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
化合物番号No.2のジイモニウム化合物の代わりに、下記式(F)のジイモニウム化合物を使用する以外は実施例11と同様の方法でPETが透明支持体で、粘着層に式(F)のジイモニウム化合物を含有する比較用近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
化合物番号No.2のジイモニウム化合物の代わりに、下記式(G)のジイモニウム化合物を使用する以外は実施例11と同様な方法でPETが透明支持体で、粘着層に式(G)のジイモニウム化合物を含有する比較用近赤外線吸収フィルターを得た。
(耐熱性試験)
PETフィルムを透明支持体にした実施例11乃至実施例12でえられた本発明の近赤外線吸収フィルターと対照例1乃至対照例3で得られた比較用の各近赤外線吸収フィルターについて耐熱性及び耐湿熱性を試験した。
表6及び表7には、視感による外観観察結果及び各波長における透過率の変化(各波長における試験後透過率(%)−試験前透過率(%))を示した。
Claims (21)
- 式(1)のR9〜R11のすべてがフッ素原子を有する脂肪族炭化水素残基である請求項1又は請求項2に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- フッ素原子を有する脂肪族炭化水素残基がトリフルオロメチル基である請求項3に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- 式(1)のR1〜R8のすべてが直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基である請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- 直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基がC1〜C6の直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基である請求項5に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- 直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基がC2〜C5の直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基である請求項6に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- 直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル基がエチル基、n−プロピル基、n−ブチル基、iso−ブチル基又はn−アミル基である請求項7に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- 式(1)又は式(2)のR1〜R8の置換基を有していても良い脂肪族炭化水素残基における置換基がそれぞれ独立にハロゲン原子、シアノ基、ニトロ基、ヒドロキシル基、カルボキシル基、カルボンアミド基、アルコキシカルボニル基、アシル基、アリール基又はアルコキシル基である請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- R1〜R8がすべてシアノ基で置換されたアルキル基である請求項9に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- シアノ基で置換されたアルキル基がシアノプロピル基である請求項10に記載のジイモニウム化合物。
- 請求項1乃至請求項11のいずれか一項に記載のジイモニウム化合物及び樹脂を含有することを特徴とする樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1乃至請求項11のいずれか一項に記載のジイモニウム化合物を含有する層を有することを特徴とする近赤外線吸収フィルター。
- ジイモニウム化合物を含有する層が粘着層である請求項13に記載の近赤外線吸収フィルター。
- 粘着層が防錆剤を含有する請求項14に記載の近赤外線吸収フィルター。
- 防錆剤が1H−ベンゾトリアゾールである請求項15に記載の近赤外線吸収フィルター。
- 粘着層に含有される有機酸の量が粘着層の質量に対して0.5質量%以下である請求項14乃至請求項16のいずれか一項に記載の近赤外線吸収フィルター。
- 波長550〜620nmに極大吸収を有する化合物が式(1)のジイモニウム化合物と共に粘着層に含有されることを特徴とする請求項14乃至請求項17のいずれか一項に記載の近赤外線吸収フィルター。
- 請求項13乃至請求項18のいずれか一項に記載の近赤外線吸収フィルター及び電磁波遮蔽層を有することを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネル用光学フィルター。
- 請求項19に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル用光学フィルターを備えたプラズマディスプレーパネル。
- 請求項1乃至請求項11のいずれか一項に記載のジイモニウム化合物を記録層に含有することを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。
