Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in flow, mechanical strengths, transparency and antistatic performance and useful as a cartridge of an optical disc, etc., by mixing a polycarbonate resin with a phosphonium salt of a sulfonic acid and a phosphorous ester. CONSTITUTION:A polycarbonate resin composition prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. polycarbonate resin (A) (e.g., polycarbonate resin produced from bisphenol A) with 0.1-20pts. wt. phosphonium salt (B) of a sulfonic acid of the formula (wherein R<1> is a 1-40 C alkyl or an aryl and R<2>-R<5> are each H, a 1-10 C alkyl or an aryl), e.g., phosphonium dodecylsulfonate, and 0.01-1.0pt.wt. phosphorous ester (C) (e.g., trisnonylphenyl phosphite). By adding components B and C as an antistatic agent, this resin composition is excellent in mechanical properties and transparency as well as in antistatic property, so that it can be suitably used for, e.g., a cartridge of an optical disc or an external trim of an office appliance.
