Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title composition of excellent light and heat resistance, with low toxicity, useful for food packaging material etc., which comprises a halogen-contg, resin, an organic acid zinc salt, an organic acid metal (belonging to Ia or IIa-group) salt, a specific β-diketone, and a phosphorous-contg. compound.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100 parts by wt. of a halogen-contg. resin, with (B) each 0.01W10 parts by wt. of an organic acid zinc salt and an organic acid metal (belonging to Ia or IIa-group) salt (said organic acid being, e.g., caproic acid, laurylic acid), (C) 0.001W3 parts by wt. of a β-diketone of formula I (R1 and R3 are each alkyl, oryl, alkylaryl, etc.; R2 is H, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, etc.), and (D) 0.01W5 parts by wt. of a phosphorous-contg. compound of formula II (R4 is alkyl, arylalkyl, ether linkage-carrying alkyl, or a group of formula III; R5 is H, a group represented by R4; R6is H or alkyl; n is 0 or 1), e.g., dibutyl phosphite.
