In recent years, various equipment such as superchargers to improve engine performance and equipment to purify exhaust gas have been installed in the engine compartment, and there may be a shortage of installation space. In cases where it is difficult to increase the engine room size by raising the hood due to aerodynamic characteristics or design reasons, a so-called bulge hatch 2 is installed that protrudes from a part of the hood 1, as shown in FIG. established,
Equipment is stored in the space increased by the bulge hatch 2. (Refer to Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-28072) As shown in FIG. 2 inner panel 21
A weld bolt 24 is welded at a key point with its threaded portion 25 protruding downward.

On the other hand, the hood 1 is also formed by combining an inner panel 11 and an outer panel 12, and has a bulge hatch 2.
An opening 13 is formed by hollowing out the portion where the bulge hatch 2 is provided, and a mounting seat 14 is attached to the inner panel 11 and the outer panel 12 in correspondence with the weld bolts 24 fixed to the bulge hatch 2 on the outer periphery of the opening 13.
It is formed by combining.

The bulge hatch 2 is placed on the hood 1 with a seal member 28 in between, and a nut 26 serving as a fixing means is screwed onto the weld bolt 24.
is fastened to the hood 1 by. A weld nut may be used instead of the weld bolt 24, or a combination of a normal bolt and nut may be used for fastening.

To give an example of a conventional coupling structure between a bulge hatch and a hood, as shown in Fig. 3, the mounting seat surface 1
A bolt insertion hole 15 is drilled through the weld bolt 24, but this bolt insertion hole 15 is a simple through hole that fits the threaded portion 25 of the weld bolt 24, and the mounting seat surface 14 itself is not broken. The bulge hatch 2 was so firmly attached that it would not come off the hood 1 unless the bulge hatch 2 was removed.

However, since the bulge hatch 2 is a highly rigid structural member with a deep cross section, it has the effect of increasing the rigidity of the hood 1, and in such a conventional joint structure of the bulge hatch and the hood, the front surface of the hood 1 is damaged in a frontal collision etc. Even when a strong load is applied to the bulge hatch 2 and hood 1, they do not easily deform, and an excessive load is applied to the hinge 3 without absorbing the impact energy, causing the hinge 3 to break or the hood 1 to come off, causing the car to become damaged. There was a problem that there was a risk of harming the occupants of the cabin.

The present invention has been made in view of these conventional problems, and aims to solve the above problems by preventing the bulge hatch from restraining the deformation of the hood under a load strong enough to destroy the hood.

In order to achieve such an object, the present invention provides a coupling structure between a bulge hatch and a hood for attaching a bulge hatch protruding from a part of the hood to a mounting seat surface on the hood side by means of fixing means, A fixing means is constituted by a fitting hole drilled in the seat surface and a fixing member inserted into the fitting hole, which maintains sufficient strength at all times, and allows the fixing member to slip out under heavy loads. The joint structure of the bulge hatch and the hood is characterized in that a falling part is formed continuously from the fitting hole, and when the hood is destroyed, the front end of the bulge hatch comes off from the hood, the hood is no longer restrained, and the hood is It is designed to easily deform and absorb impact energy.

FIG. 4 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which a mounting surface 14 of the hood 1 corresponding to the front end 27 of the bulge hatch 2 is fitted with a fitting that fits the threaded portion 25 of the weld bolt 24 provided on the bulge hatch 2. Matching hole 19
A pot-shaped bolt insertion hole 18 is formed by combining a hole 17 which is larger than the outer diameter of the nut 26 that is screwed into the threaded portion 25 and is formed in front of the fitting hole 19 as a fallout portion. When installing and fixing the bulge hatch 2, insert the threaded portion 25 into the fitting hole 19.
is inserted and fastened with a nut 26. In this embodiment, the weld bolt 24 and the nut 26 are fastening members, and they and the fitting hole 19 constitute a fastening means.

According to the coupling structure of the bulge hatch and the hood having the above configuration, in the normal state, the inner panel 11 and the outer panel 12 of the hood 1, which form the mounting seat surface 14 on the outer periphery of the fitting hole 19, are connected to the nut 2.
The bulge hatch 2 is firmly connected to the hood 1 by pressing the bulge hatch 6.

When the front end of the hood 1 is pushed rearward due to a frontal collision or the like, the hood 1 deforms and tries to move from left to right in FIG. 4. On the other hand, since the bulge hatch 2 tries to maintain its original state, the mounting seat surface 14 of the hood 1 and the inner panel 21 of the bulge hatch 2 tend to shift from each other, and if a load stronger than the set value is applied, the mounting seat of the hood 1 Surface 14 moves rearward. Since the weld bolt 24 is fixed to the bulge hatch 2, it maintains its original position, and the nut 26 also remains screwed into the threaded portion 25. As a result, the threaded portion 25 of the weld bolt 24 is inserted into the emergency escape hole 17, and the nut 26 loses its engagement and slips out from the emergency escape hole 17. Therefore, the front end 27 of the bulge hatch 2 and the hood 1 are separated, and as shown in FIG. 6, the hood 1 is bent to absorb the impact energy and protect the occupants in the vehicle interior.
