Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 技術分野 本発明は、自動車のステアリングコラムをロツ
クするロツク装置の盗難防止装置の改良に関す
る。
従来技術 従来、盗難防止装置としては、戻しばねでロツ
ク位置に附勢されるロツク部材によつてステアリ
ングコラムをロツクし、かつ、上記ロツク部材
は、２つの内方へ向く突起部を両端部に備えたロ
ツクレバーの押し付けで、不用意にロツク位置に
動かないように保持され、上記ロツクレバーの一
方の突起部は、ロツク部材のアンロツク位置で、
ロツク部材の凹部に係合すると共に、他方の突起
部には、ばね負荷がかけられた接触子として動作
して、ロツク装置のキー孔における点火用キーの
有無を検出するようにしてなるものがある。
この型式の盗難防止装置は、ドイツ特許第
1480411で明らかにされている。
当該特許では、ロツク装置のキー孔内に突出す
るロツクレバーの接触部は、キーのキー溝のない
背面部に沿つてスライドする。
上記盗難防止装置では、両側キー溝付のキーを
使用することは不可能で、ロツク装置のキー孔に
キーを差し込む前に、キーが正しい向きで差し込
まれるように選択しなければならなかつた。
盗難防止装置としての技術的な問題は、従来の
型式で解決されたことは明らかであるが、しか
し、両側キー溝付のキーは使用できない。
発明の目的 従つて本発明は、両側キー溝付のキーを有する
ことができる自動車のステアリングコラムロツク
装置の盗難防止装置を提供することを目的とす
る。
発明の要旨 本発明は、上記の技術的な問題を以下のように
解決した。
(イ) ロツク装置は、同一で向い合つた位置にキー
溝を持つ両端キー溝付のイグニツシヨンキーを
使用する型式である。上記キーには、それぞれ
のキー溝の両側部分に、キーの面に実質的に垂
直で、キー溝に対応して縦方向に伸長する平面
部を備えている。
(ロ) ばね負荷がかかつたロツクレバーの接触部
は、ロツクシリンダのへこみ部を放射方向にス
ライドする摺動板の外周部に当接し、該摺動板
は、ロツク装置にキーを差し込んだときには、
キーに押されて引つ込め位置または引き出し位
置にスライドされる。
(ハ) 摺動板の内部には、ロツクレバーの近くでキ
ー溝に接近して、キーが差し込まれた時に、キ
ーの実質的に垂直な平面部の１つで摺動板を引
き出し位置に当接保持させるためのガイド面部
を備えている。
本発明の他の特長や効果は、図面とともに述べ
る以下の説明から十分に理解されるであろう。
実施例 第１図および第２図において、盗難防止装置の
固定ハウジング１には、キー４のキー孔３を備え
た回転式のロツクシリンダ２を内蔵し、該キー４
は、両側キー溝付の型式であり、それゆえ、同一
で向い合つたキー溝５，５を備えている。
キー４のそれぞれのキー溝５，５の両側部分に
は、キー４の面に実質的に垂直で、キー溝５，５
に対応して縦方向に伸長する平面部６，６を備え
ている。
ハウジング１内には、ピボツトピン８を中心に
揺動可能なロツクレバー７が設けられ、上記ピボ
ツトピン８は、ロツクシリンダ２のＵ溝部９でス
ライド可能である。
ロツクレバー７の一端部には、第１図に示すス
テアリングコラムのロツク装置の時のロツク部材
１１上に当接する突起部１２を備えている。
ロツク部材１１には、図示しないばね負荷が加
えられ、ステアリングコラムのロツク位置方向に
附勢されている。
乗物が走行している状況でのロツク部材１１
は、アンロツク位置にあり、動作するロツクレバ
ー７の一端部にある突起部１０は、ロツク部材１
１の切欠部１１ａ（第４図参照）に係合する。
動作するロツクレバー７の他端部にある接触部
１２は、ロツクシリンダ２のキー孔３内のキー４
の有無を検出する。
ロツクレバー７上の戻しばね１３は、ロツクレ
バー７の接触部１２をロツクシリンダ２のキー３
側に附勢する。
Ｕ形状の摺動板１４は、ロツクシリンダ２の上
縁部近くの位置で、ロツクシリンダ２のへこみ部
１６，１８に沿つて放射方向にスライドする。
第３図に示すように、摺動板１４は、長さの異
なる２つの脚部１５，１７を持つている。
長脚部１５は、キー孔３の一側のへこみ部１６
でガイドされ、短脚部１７は、キー孔３の他側の
へこみ部１８でガイドされる。
第１図および第２図において、キー４はキー孔
３にいまだ差し込まれておらず、摺動板１４は、
ロツクレバー７のばね負荷による接触部１２での
外周部１９の押し下げで引つ込め位置にある。
摺動板１４の外周部１９は、第２図から明らか
なように、ロツクシリンダ２の湾曲した外周と同
一の湾曲した外周を持つ。
引つ込め位置において、長脚部１５の内面部１
５ａは、ロツクシリンダ２のへこみ部１６の後面
部に接触し、短脚部１７のガイド面部２０は、へ
こみ部１８の後面部に接触している。
摺動板１４の短脚部１７の内側傾斜面部２１に
は、内側方向に傾斜させられ、内側傾斜面部２１
とガイド面部２０とのエツジは丸み部２２に形成
されている。
キー１４をキー孔３に差し込んだとき、キー４
の先端の傾斜部２３はカムに似た動作をし、摺動
板１４の短脚部１７のガイド面部２０によつて、
摺動板１４をハウジング１の放射方向に押し上げ
る。
この動作の終りには、第４図に示すように、同
期するロツクレバー７の突起部１２は、ロツク部
材１１の凹部１１ａに係合する。なぜなら、キー
４の差し込み動作中には、ロツク部材１１は上向
きに維持されているからである。こうして、キー
４はロツクシリンダ２のキー孔３に完全に差し込
まれる。
第４図および第５図に示すように、摺動板１４
がハウジング１の放射方向に押し上げられたと
き、摺動板１４の短脚部１７のガイド面部２０
は、ロツクレバー７の近くでキー溝５に接近して
キー４の平面部６に当接保持される。
その結果、キー４がキー孔３の軸方向に差し込
まれたとき、摺動板１４のガイド面部２０は、平
面部６に沿つてスライドし、該平面部６は、キー
４の差し込みをなめらかにさせるように機能す
る。
発明の効果 本発明は、従つて、片側キー溝付キーでは構成
できない、ステアリングコラムのロツク位置から
不用意にロツク部材が動かないように予防するこ
とを実現した自動車のステアリングコラムロツク
装置の盗難防止装置である。
本発明、摺動板が長、短脚部を有し、短脚部に
ガイド面部が形成されている。そして、ガイド面
部を有する短脚部に対応する外周部にロツクレバ
ーの接触部を当接させているので、ロツクレバー
から摺動板に傾きを生じさせるような力が作用せ
ず、摺動板の移動は常にスムースである。
また、摺動板の脚部の長さを異にするととも
に、ロータリシリンダのへこみ部の深さを異にし
たから、摺動板をへこみ部に組付けるときに方向
性があり、組付け時の誤りがない。
上述のことから本発明は理解されたと考える
が、本発明の正確な理解のためには、図示の実施
例に限定されるものでなく、種々の態様を採用す
ることが可能である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 自動車のステアリングコラムをロツクするよ
    うに弾性的に付勢されたロツク部材と、両端に
    夫々突出部を有し、一方の突出部は上記ロツク部
    材を非ロツク位置に保持すべく係合可能なロツク
    手段であり、他方の突出部は当該ロツク装置のキ
    ー孔内におけるイグニツシヨンキーの有無を検出
    すべく作動する接触部として機能するロツクレバ
    ーとを含む型式の盗難防止装置において、 (イ) 当該ロツク装置は、ロツクレバー７の接触部
    １２に相隣るへこみ部１６，１８内に設けられ
    た溝とキー孔３とを有し、２つの同一でかつ対
    向して形成された切欠きキー溝５と、切欠きキ
    ー溝５の実質的な底部においてキー面に実質的
    に垂直な側方に突出する縦方向に延びた平面部
    とを有するキー４によつて作動される回転式の
    ロツクシリンダ２を含んでいること、 (ロ) ロツクレバー７の接触部１２は、異なる長さ
    の脚部を有する略Ｕ字形状の摺動板１４の短脚
    部１７に対応する外周部１９に当接しており、
    かつ回転式のロツクシリンダ２のへこみ部１
    ６，１８内の上記溝内において径（放射）方向
    に移動可能に配置されており、上記接触部１２
    は上記摺動板１４の短脚部１７の内側の面がキ
    ー孔３内に突出する引つ込め位置から、上記摺
    動板１４の外周部１９が、突起部１０がロツク
    部材をその非ロツク位置に保持すべく作動可能
    な位置にロツクレバー７を強制する引き出し位
    置に移動でき、ロツクレバー７は上記摺動板１
    ４をその引つ込め位置に向けて強制すべく作動
    可能であること、及び (ハ) 上記摺動板１４の短脚部１７は、キー４がキ
    ー孔３内に挿入されると、ロツクレバー７によ
    り近いキー４の一方の平面部６に当接し、かつ
    れによつて上記摺動板１４をその引き出し位置
    まで摺動させるように駆動する一方、長脚部１
    ５は上記へこみ部１６，１８の一方によつて溝
    内でガイドされることを特徴とする自動車のス
    テアリングコラムロツク装置の盗難防止装置。
