【発明の詳細な説明】 3、発明の詳細な説’Jl 〔産業上の利用分野〕 この発明は、摺動面兼金属加圧油剤およびこれを使用す
る工作機械の潤滑方法に関し、さらに詳しく言うと、工
作機械の摺動面油と切削油剤との安求特性を同時に満た
しGT4油の混合による性律低下、工作機械の作動不良
を防止する兼用油剤およびその使用方法に関する。
〔従来の技術およびその問題点〕
一股に工作機械に使用する摺動面油と切削・研削油剤等
の金属加工油剤とは、その組成が異なり、しかも機械設
計上両油剤が互いに混入し易い設計になっている。この
ため、他油の混入による性能低下、作動不良を生ずるこ
とが多いという問題点があった。
この問題点を解決する方法として、本出願人は、鉱油合
成油等の潤滑油に、特定の長鎖ジカルボン酸を配合して
成る兼用油剤を提案した(特願昭59−262920号
)。
該兼用油剤は、 +iii記問題点を2(本釣に解消し
た優れた韮用油ではあるが、摺動面特性などにおいてさ
らに改良する余地を有している。
[発1月の目的] この発明は、前記事情に基づいてなされたものである。
すなわち、この発明の目的は、前記問題点を解決すると
ともに前記特願昭59−262920号の発明を改良し
、摺動面油と切削・研削油剤等の金属加工油剤とを使用
する工作機械、とくに、摺動面油を全損式で、切削・研
削油剤を循環式で使用する工作機械の潤滑システムで、
再抽を基本的に同一組成にして使用(たとえば、摺動面
油として原液を用い、切削・研削油剤としてそのエマル
ジョンとして用いる。)シた場合でも、層動面油として
の性能および切削・研削油剤としての性能の両性能に著
しく優れ、切削油剤に摺動面油が互いに混入してもその
性能に支障を生じることがない新規な兼用油を提供する
ことにある。
〔前記目的を達成するための手段〕
前記問題点を解決し、前記目的を達成するためのこの第
1の発明の概要は、炭素数16〜24の二塩基酸とピペ
ラジン化合物との反応生成物と。
潤滑油と、乳化剤とを含有することを特徴とする摺動面
兼金属加工油剤であり、 第2の発明の概要は、ik素数16〜24の二塩基酸と
ピペラジン化合物との反応生成物と、潤滑油と、極圧剤
および/または油性剤と、乳化剤とを含有することを特
徴とする摺動面兼金属加工油剤であり、 および、第3の発1」の概要は、炭素数16〜24の二
I!!基酸とピペラジン化合物との反応生成物と、潤滑
油と、乳化剤と、要すれば極圧剤および/または油性剤
とを含有する摺動面兼金属力1シ[油剤を工作機械の摺
動面に使用し、この摺動面兼金属加工油剤の稀釈液を金
属加工部位に使用することを特徴とする工作機械の潤滑
方法である。
前記潤滑油としては、特に制限はなく、石油もしくは鉱
油系潤滑油(パラフィン系油および/またはナフテン系
油など)、非石油系潤滑油(合成潤滑油、動植物油類な
ど)等、また、軽質潤滑油、中¥を潤滑油1重質潤滑油
等、またこれらの基油である鉱油、合成油、動植物油等
のいずれのものも使用することができるが、粘度が、5
〜500csL  (40℃)の範囲にあるものが好ま
しい。
より具体的に言うと、たとえば、金属加工用潤滑油(た
とえば、圧延油、切削、研削油、・■性加[油、プレス
油、引抜き用潤滑油など)、作動用潤滑油(たとえば、
航空作動油、自動・I(ブレーキ油、)1重圧作動油、
トルクコンバータ油なと)、さび止め潤滑油、工業用潤
滑油、スピンドル油、冷凍機油、ダイナモ油、タービン
油、マシン油、シリンダ油、各種ギヤ油、自動変速油、
各種内燃機関用潤滑油、各種摺動面油等、もしくはこれ
らに使用される鉱油、合成油、動植物油等を挙げるこ・
とができる。
これらの中でも、たとえば、切削油、研削油、切削、研
削油・各種摺動面油等、もしくはこれらに使用される鉱
油、合成油、等が好ましく、特に、循環成用切削・研削
油、全損式用摺動面油等、もしくは、これらに使用され
る鉱油、合成油等が好ましい。
これらの潤滑油は、一種単独で使用しても、2種以」二
を混合して使用してもよく、また必要によりエマルジョ
ン状態にあるものを使用することもできる。
なお、これらの171滑油は、酸化防1F剤、消泡〜1
.銅不活性化剤、清浄剤、粘度調整剤、さび1にめ用添
加削、また場合によっては、極圧剤、潤性剤、はっ水剤
、粘着剤、#シよう防止剤、着色剤等の添加剤を含有す
るものであってもよい。
前記炭素数16〜24の長鎖ニルJ1(酎としては、 例えば式 Hooc・(CR2)5ψCH(C:R2)

アルコキシ基、アミン基、アルキルアミノ基、ジアルキ
ルアミツノ、(:アルキルアミノアルキルノ^、ジアル
キルアミノアルキルノ^、ヒドロキシアルキル基、ヒド
ロキシアリール基、アミノアリール基、(、アルキルア
ミノアリールノ、(、アルコキシアルキル基、アルコキ
シアリール基等のハロゲン原子および/または木酸]、
(および/またはアルコキシ基および/またはアミノ基
置換炭化木素)、(等を意味する。また、第〔1〕式中
又は、水;起原子;アルキル基、アリール基、アルアリ
ール基^、アラルキル基等の炭化水素基;ヒドロキシア

れるピペラジンまたは、置換ピペラジン化合物である。
もっとも、前記第〔1〕式で表わされるピペラジン化合
物の中でも、次の第〔2〕式、r R6 〔2〕 (ただし、1111記第〔2〕式中、R1、R7、R’
、R’、R5,Ft6.R1,R”は、前記第〔1〕式
と同様のノ1(を意味する。Yは、OI−(よたはNR
2を意味する。また、第〔2〕式中のmは1〜5の整数
、好ましくは、?または3を、a味する。) +iij記第〔1〕式および第〔2〕式の、R1、R”
 、R3、R’ 、R5、R6、R’ 、R8に関して
は、水素原子または炭素数が1〜5のアルギル基(とく
に、メチルノ、0または、炭素数が1〜5のヒドロキシ
アリール基、((とくに、2−ヒドロギシエナルノ、0
または炭素数が1〜5のアミノアリール基、((とくに

前記第〔2〕式で示されてピペラジン化合物の□中で比
較的好適に使用することができるピペラジン化合物の具
体例としては、たとえば、N−(ヒドロキシメチル)ピ
ペラジン、N−(ヒドロキシメチル)−2−メチルピペ
ラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)ピペラジン(第
〔3〕式)、N−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−2−メチ
ルピペラジン。
H 〔3〕 N−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−2−ヒドロキシエチル
ピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−2−7ミ
ノエチルビペラジン、N−(2〜ヒドロキシエチル)−
2,3−ジメチルピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシプ
ロピル)ピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシプロピル)
−2−メチルピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシプロピ
ル)−2−ヒドロキシエチルピペラジン、N−(3−ヒ
ドロキシプロピル)ピペラジン、N−(3−ヒドロキシ
プロピル)−2−メチルピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロ
キシブチル゛)ピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシブチ
ル)−2−メチルピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシブ
チル)−2−ヒドロキシエチルピペラジン、N−(4−
ヒドロキシブチル)ピペラジン、N−(2−ヒドロキシ

N−(アミノメチル)ピペラジン、N−(2−アミノエ
チル)ピペラジン、N−(2−アミノエチル)−2−メ
チルピペラジン、N−(2−アミノエチル)−2−ヒド
ロキシエチルピペラジン、N−(2−7ミノエチル)−
2−7ミノエチルピペラジン、N−(2−アミノプロピ
ル)ピペラジン、N−(2−7ミノプロピル)−2−メ
チルピペラジン、N−(3−7ミノプロビル)ピペラジ
ン、N−(3−アミノプロピル)−2−メチルピペラジ
ン、N−(2−アミノブチル)ピペラジン、N−(3−
7ミノブチル)ピペラジン、N−(4−アミノブチル)
ピペラジン、N−(2−アミノペンチル)ピペラジン、
N−(5−アミノペンチル)ピペラジン、  N−(5
−アミノペンチル)−2−ヒドロキシエチルピペラジン
等のN−アミノアルキルピペラジン類、等を挙げること
ができる。
これらの化合物のほかに1、i)η記第(1)式で表わ
されるピペラジン化合物の具体例としては、たとえば、
ピペラジン2−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)ピペラジン、
2−メチルピペラジン、2−(2−アミノエチル)ピペ
ラジン、N−メチルピペラジン、N−メチル−2−ヒド
ロキシメチルピペラジン、N−フェニルピペラジン、N
〜(ヒドロキシフェニル)ピペラジン、N−(ヒドロキ
シシクロヘキシル)ピペラジン、N−ベンジルピペラジ
ン、N−(ヒドロキシベンジル)ピペラジン、N−(ヒ
ドロキシメチルフェニル)ピペラジン、N−7エこルー
2−ヒドロキシエチルピペラジン等の様々の化合物を挙
げることがでる。
これらの中でも、N−(2−ヒドロキシアルキル)ピペ
ラジンが好ましく、特に、N−(2−ヒドロキシエチル
)ピペラジンおよびN−(2−ヒドロキシプロピル)ピ
ペラジンが好ましい。
この発11の方法においては、前記ピペラジン化合物(
CB+)成分)と前記炭素数16〜24の長鎖二塩基酸
((B2 )成分)とを配合し、反応生J&物を生成せ
しめて、#反応生成物もしくは反応生成液をこの発明の
摺動面兼金属加工油剤の調製に使用する。
前記〔B1〕成分と〔B2〕成分との配合割合は、〔B
2〕成分1モル当り、〔B1〕成分を、通常、0.5〜
10モル、好ましくは1〜5モルに設定する。
tiij記〔B1〕成分と〔B2〕成分との反応は。
たとえば、反応温度を室温〜200℃、好ましくは30
〜100℃、反応時間を5分間〜120分間、好ましく
は10分間〜60分間に設定して行うことができる。
前記乳化剤としては、特に制限はなく1例えば脂肪族せ
っけん、ナフテン酸せっけん、長鎖アルコール硫酸エス
テル塩、脂肪族アルキル硫酸エステル塩などの7ニオン
系界面活性剤:長鎖第一アミン塩、アルキルトリメチル
アンモニウム用など。
のカチオン系界面活性剤:ポリオキシエチレンアルキル
エーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテ
ル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエステル、ポリオキシ
エチレンアルキルフェニルエステルなどの非イオン系界
面活性剤、さらにジポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテ
ルホスフェート、トリポリオキシエチレンアルキルエー
テルホスフェート、トリポリオキシエチレンアルキルフ
ェニルエーテルホスフェートなどのリン含有界面活性剤
等を挙げることができる。これら乳化剤は全量に対し5
〜30重量%、好ましくはlO〜20重量%配合される
。ここで、この乳化剤の配合量が5正量%未満であると
、得られる潤滑組成物が分離してしまうため11動面油
剤として用いることができなくなるとともに金属加工液
の乳化安定性が悪く金属加工に用いることができなくな
る。また、30重量%を超えて配合すると、摺動面油剤
として用いた場合、スティックスリップが発生するので
好ましくない。
前記極圧剤としては、特に制限はなく、公知の潤滑油に
使用される極圧剤を使用することができる。
より具体的には、たとえば、硫化ラード、硫化抹香鯨油
等のいおう化合物系極圧剤、リン酸エステル、リン酸エ
ステルアミン塩等の化合物系極圧剤、塩素化合物系極圧
剤等を挙げることができる。
前記油性剤としては、特にv1限はなく、公知の潤滑油
に使用される油性剤を使用することができる。
より具体的には、たとえば高級アルコール、高級ケトン
、高級脂肪酸エステル、油脂等の311+のアルコール
の脂肪酸エステル、リン酸エステル。
リン酸エステルアミン塩等を挙げることができる。
なお、一般に油性剤、極圧剤は、いずれも境界潤滑性簡
を向上させるためのものであり、両者を明確に定着づけ
て確然と区別することは難かしいとされる〔潤滑ハンド
ブック:口木潤滑学会編、養賢堂(昭和57年)〕 したがって、前記例示の極圧剤と前記例示の油性剤とを
1合せて極圧剤・油性剤とみなすことができる。
前記例示の極圧剤争油性剤の中でも、たとえば硫化ラー
ド、硫化抹香鯨油、リン酸エステル、リン酸エステルア
ミン塩、油脂等の多価アルコールの脂肪酸エステル、高
級脂肪酸エステル類等が好ましく、特に硫化ラード、リ
ン酸エステルアミン塩等が好ましい。
これらの極圧剤、油性剤もしくは極圧剤・油性剤は、1
種単独で用いても、2種以−Lを組み合せて使用しても
よい。
この発明の冶動面兼金属加工油剤は、前記潤滑油((A
) 16分)と、前記〔B1〕成分と前記〔B2〕成分
とから調製される前記反応生成物(〔B〕酸成分と、前
記極圧剤および/または前記油性剤、すなわち前記極圧
剤・油性剤(〔C〕酸成分と、前記乳化剤(〔D)r&
分)とを配合するか、あるいは前記(A)成分と、前記
CB)成分と、前記CD) 成分とを配合することによ
って製造することができる。
これらの各成分の配合割合は、以下のように設定する。
前記(B)成分の配合割合が、2重量部より小さいと、
防錆性、耐菌性、耐ステイン性、耐腐性、耐摩耗性が十
分でなかったり、摺動面油として用いたときに、動W、
擦係数が低くならなかったり、面圧が高い場合にスティ
ックスリップを生じることがあり、一方、60!rrq
部を超えて配合しても効果の向」二が期待できないので
、経済上好ましくない。
すなわち、(A)成分に〔B)成分を2〜60屯td%
、好ましくは5〜30重r^%、〔C)成分を0〜30
重量%、好ましくは2〜20重jψ%、(D)成分を3
〜30重量%、好ましくは5〜20重に%に設定するの
が望ましい、なお前記[A]〜[D]成分の合計が10
0重量%となることはいうまでもない。
前記CD)成分の配合割合が、3重量%より小さいと、
金属加工液の乳化安定性が悪化し、一方、30重量%よ
り大きいと、潤滑性が低下することがある。
前記(C)成分の配合割合が、30重量%より大きいと
、オイルスティン、腐食を生じ易くなる。
なお、(C)成分は、一般に主として境界潤滑特性の向
上を目的として配合されるものであるが。
この発明の摺動面兼金属加工油剤の場合には、(C)成
分を含有しないか、あるいは少量しか含有しない場合に
おいても、優れた境界潤滑特性が得られる。この理由は
、現時点で明確ではないが、〔B)成分自身が、その性
能を兼ね備えているものと推測できる。
前記各成分の配合の順序、方法は、特に制限はなく、各
成分を同時に配合しても1段階的に配合しても、部分的
に組合せて配合されたものに他の成分を配合してもよい
、たとえば、(C) t:分を含有する摺動面兼金属加
工油剤を製造する場合には、使用する潤滑油が、すでに
(C)成分を含有しているものであれば、これとCB)
 J&分とCD) ff1分とを配合して製造すること
ができ、さらに必要により別途に(C)成分を配合して
製造することもできる。
この発明の摺動面兼金属加工油剤は、酸化防止剤、消泡
剤、銅不活性化剤等の通常機械工作用潤滑油に添加され
る添加剤を含有することが望ましい、また、必要により
、上記の他の添加剤、たとえば、清浄剤、粘度調整剤(
たとえば、粘度指数向上剤、?It動点降下剤など)、
さび止め用添加剤、はっ水剤、粘着剤、離しよう防止剤
、着色剤等を含有するものがあってもよい、これらの添
加剤の添加の順序、方法には特に制限はなく、たとえば
、前記潤滑剤のあらかじめ含有されているものであって
も、新たに別途に添加されるものであってもよい。
前記酸化防止剤としては、たとえば2.6−ジ−ターシ
ャリ−ブチルパラクレゾール等のフェノール系化合物、
フェニル−α−ナフチルアミン等のアミン化合物、その
他、いおう系化合物、リン系化合物等を挙げることがで
きる。
前記消泡剤としては、ジメチルポリシロキサン等のシリ
コーン化合物の他、アルコール系化合物、エステル系化
合物などが挙げられる。
前記調率活性剤としては、ベンゾトリアソール等のトリ
アゾール化合物の他、チアゾール系化合物を挙げること
ができる。
以上のような方法で得られた、この発明の摺動面兼金属
加工油剤は、そのまま原液を摺動筒袖として使用し、原
液と木等とを混合した水性混合液、乳化液を金属加工液
として使用することができる。
該水性混合液もしくは乳化液は、たとえば、前記原液1
毛!I′r、部あたり、木を2〜100屯j、ニ一部配
合して得ることができる。
以上のような方法で製造することができるこの発明のm
動面兼金属加工油剤は、原液を摺動筒袖として用いた場
合、たとえば動摩擦係数が低く、しかも摺動面の面圧が
高い場合にも、スティックスリップを生じることがない
1等の優れた性ス七を有しており、一方、その原液また
は木で稀釈した液を切削書研削油剤として用いた場合、
たとえば、耐摩耗性に著しく優れ、乳化・可溶化性が高
く、その安定性に優れているので、水系油剤として好適
に使用することができる等の優れた件部を有している。
さらに、この発明の摺動面兼金属加工油剤は、」−記の
利点に加えて、摺動筒袖、金属加工油剤のいずれに使用
しても、防錆性、耐オイルスティン性、耐腐食性、耐菌
性(耐バクテリア性、耐カビ性)、耐腐敗性等の様々の
2次的性億に優れている。
以りのように、この発明の摺動面兼金属加工油剤は、摺
動筒袖としての性能に優れると同時にジノ削・研削油剤
としての性ス對にも優れた兼用油であリ、従って、摺動
筒袖と切削参研削油剤とを使用する工作機械、とくに摺
動筒袖を全損式で、!/J削・研削油剤を循環式で使用
する工作機械の潤滑システムにおいて、摺動面油i切削
・研削油剤として好適に使用することができる。この際
、たとえば、摺動筒袖として、この発明の摺動面兼金属
加工油剤の原液を用い、一方、切削・研削油として、そ
の乳化液を用いることができる。このように、摺動筒袖
と切削・研削油剤等の金属加工油剤に基本的に同一組成
の優れた兼用油を使用することによって、使用中に油剤
が互いに混入することがあっても、それぞれの油剤の性
能が低下したり、作動不良が生じる等の問題点を解消す
ることができる。
すなわち、この発明の摺動面兼金属加工油剤は、摺動筒
袖としても、切削・研削油等の金属加工油剤としても、
また、これらの兼用油としても、好適に使用することが
できる優れた工作機械用潤滑油剤である。
〔発明の効果〕
この発明によると、動摩擦係数が低く、しかも、摺動面
の面圧が高い場合においてもスティックスリップを生じ
ることがないなどの摺動筒袖としての性能が著しく向上
した摺動重油であり、同時に、耐摩耗性、乳化・可溶化
能、およびその安定性が著しく向上した切削・研削油剤
等の金属加工油剤であり、さらに、これらの件部に加え
て、防錆性、耐腐食性、耐オイルスティン性、耐菌性(
耐バクテリア性、耐カビ性)、耐腐敗性等の2次的性t
Eに著しく優れたm動筒袖、金属加工油剤であり、した
がって、原液を摺動筒袖とし、原液またはその水稀釈液
を切削・研削油剤等の金属加工油剤としても、それぞれ
好適に使用することができ、しかも、摺動重油と切削・
研削加工油剤等の金属加工油剤とに兼用して使用したと
きに、使用中に油剤が互いに混入したとしても、それぞ
れの性能の低下を生じたり、作動不良になることがない
ので、兼用油として好適に使用することができる等の優
れた利点を有する摺動面兼金属加工油剤を提供すること
ができる。
また、この発明の摺動面兼金属加工油剤は、通常、潤滑
油の境界潤滑特性等の特性の向」−に必須とされる極圧
剤などの油性剤を必ずしも含有しない場合あるいは少量
しか含有しない場合においても、優れた特性を有してい
るので、経済」二、製造北右利である。
以上の、優れた語特性、使用上の利点などは。
特定のピペラジン化合物と特定の二塩基酸との反応生成
物を使用し、かつ各成分を特定な−1,1合で配合する
ことによって得られたものである。
〔実施例〕
(実施例1〜6.比較例1〜5) 第1表に示す各成分を、表示の配合割合で配合し、兼用
油を調製した。この兼用油原液および乳化液を用いて以
下の試験を行なった。
[試験方法] ■摺動面試験 出光法[A S TM D 2877−70にべ町拠し
て条件を以下のようにした方法(出光トライボレビュー
Voi 、I No、 2  P 141 = 144
に2戎されている方法)]により行ない動摩擦係数(終
)とスティックスリップの発生の有無を測定した。なお
1条件は次の通りである。
面圧: 0.54Kz/cnr 滑り速度: 12mm/sinおよび180mm/si
nすベリ面材賀:ベットS 45C@府鋼板(JIS 
G 4051) サドル F C−20キサゲ面 (JIS G 5501) ■オイルスティン性能試験 」−2潤滑組成物の原液に蒸留水5毛量%を加えて攪拌
し、エマルジョン化した液を2枚のFC−20板(JI
S G 5501)  (30X70X10mm)には
さんで80℃の温度で50間保持した。開放後、オイル
スティンの有無を1is1察した。
■銅板腐食試験 JIS K 2513に準じて行なった。但し、条件は
5゜”CX3時間で行なった。
■9J 111 試シ央 、iff硬+−/プ(P2O−−−JIS B 410
4)を使用し、旋盤により切削する試験を行ない、この
ときの工具摩耗(摩耗幅)を計測した。なお、試料は3
%エマルジョンを使用し、切削条件は以下の通りであっ
た・ 材料ニアルミ合金鋳物 A C2A (JIS H52
02)切削速度: 100 m/層in 送り量=0.1■m/rev。
切り込み量=2鳳鳳 切削距離: 4800m ■初期乳化安定性試験 100mjLのメスシリンダーに水97m1を取り。
その水面上に上記潤滑組成物の原液3 m lを投入し
、30分後後上に油(rX液)が浮遊、分離していない
か(初期乳化性)を観察した。また、水中に油剤が分散
または溶解した場合(容量)(溶解性)を測定した。な
お1本発明に適用しうる原液は上層に油が分散せず、油
剤の分散または溶解割合が30m 1以上であることが
必要である。
■防錆試験 各エマルジョン濃度の試料を用いて切削試験を行ない、
70後被削材(切粉)の錆の有無を観察した。なお、切
削試験はボール盤でエンドミル工具を用い、FCD−4
0材(JIS G 5502)を切削することにより行
なった。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)炭素数16〜24の二塩基酸とピペラジン化合物
    との反応生成物と、潤滑油と、乳化剤とを含有すること
    を特徴とする摺動面兼金属加工油剤。
  2. (2)前記ピペラジン化合物が、N−(ヒドロキシアル
    キル)ピペラジン化合物および/またはN−(アミノア
    ルキル)ピペラジン化合物である前記特許請求の範囲第
    (1)項に記載の摺動面兼金属加工油剤。
  3. (3)炭素数16〜24の二塩基酸とピペラジン化合物
    との反応生成物と、潤滑油と、極圧剤および/または油
    性剤と、乳化剤とを含有することを特徴とする摺動面兼
    金属加工油剤。
  4. (4)前記ピペラジン化合物が、N−(ヒドロキシアル
    キル)ピペラジン化合物および/またはN−(アミノア
    ルキル)ピペラジン化合物である前記特許請求の範囲第
    (3)項に記載の摺動面兼金属加工油剤。
  5. (5)炭素数16〜24の二塩基酸とピペラジン化合物
    との反応生成物と、潤滑油と、乳化剤と、要すれば極圧
    剤および/または油性剤とを含有する摺動面兼金属加工
    油剤を工作機械の摺動面に使用し、この摺動面兼金属加
    工油剤の稀釈液を金属加工部位に使用することを特徴と
    する工作機械の潤滑方法。
