Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a good welding quality even in case of a horizontal or vertical welding position, by blowing control gas to the tip part of an arc generated from an electrode, and directing the arc to a filler material side positioned in front of a welding part. CONSTITUTION:In case of build-up welding, by gas shielded arc welding, a control gas nozzle 4 is provided on a torch nozzle 2. Control gas 8 from the control gas nozzle 4 is blown to the tip part of an arc 7 generated from an electrode 3, and the arc 7 is directed to a filler material 5 side positioned in front of a weld. Accordingly, the arc swings forward, a flow of a molten metal is pushed up even in case of a horizontal or vertical welding position, and the arc 7 is directed to the filler material 5, therefore the deposition quantity increases and also a good welding quality is obtained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a build-up l@contact method using gas-shielded arc welding, and an object of the present invention is to obtain good welding quality even in horizontal or vertical welding positions.

Conventionally, overlay welding in various positions for cylindrical containers and the like has been performed by wt covered arc welding, but since this covered arc welding is performed manually, it is not efficient and quality efficient.

Therefore, we decided to use a tungsten non-consumable electrode and use it as a non-consumable electrode. Using the gas-shielded arc welding force method in which 111 is initially transmitted with an inert gas, automatic R4 welding is performed in which the filler metal is automatically fed and the torch is automatically moved. However, in overlay welding in a horizontal or vertical welding position, the bead shape and welding density are affected by the flow of molten metal, making it impossible to achieve good welding quality.

This light 11 was created keeping in mind the -MW point, and in accordance with the overlay welding method using gas shield arc welding, a control gas nozzle is provided in the torch nozzle from which the electrode is led out, and the control gas nozzle, l: ! This is a build-up welding horn method characterized by blowing the control gas No. 7 to the tip of the arc generated from the electrode and directing the arc to the filler metal 11111 located at the support of the welding part.

Therefore, the control gas from the control gas nozzle is applied to the tip of the arc to assist the welding part i1'? Since the spray is directed toward the filler metal side, the arc is assisted, and the sideways position has the effect of pushing down the flow of molten metal even in an upright welding position. Because the arc is directed toward the filler metal, the amount of welding increases even at rotary bath welding current values, and the width of the arc expands perpendicular to the welding direction, resulting in a smooth bead shape and good welding quality. can be obtained.
