PURPOSE: To rapidly release the blocked state of a sludge suction port by a method in which part of blockaders is connected to water stream of fast flow rate, produced by the blocking of the sludge suction port, in such a way as to cause the water stream with part of the blockaders to suck up with high speeds.
CONSTITUTION: As soon as blocking phenomenon begins to occur in and near a sludge suction port 4b1, water stream introduced from the upper opening 4c2 of a water suction cover 4c reaches through a water conduit H to a water suction port 4b2 provided below a nozzle pipe 4b and becomes a high-speed jet stream because the sludge suction port 4b1 is in nearly blocked state, and the jet streat of water is jetted into the nozzle pipe 4b. If sandy sludge 11a causative of blockade is present in and near the sludge suction port 4b1, the snady sludge (a) nearest to the water suction port 4b2 is first broken and removed by the jet stream, and in the order of (b), (c)...(g), (h), sandy sludge near the sludge suction port 4b1 is degradated.
