Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a titled steel plate which is excellent in its press workability, by hot-rolling and cold-rolling Al killed steel containing B with ultralow carbon content, and after that, soaking it under a specific condition by continuous annealing, and quenching it. CONSTITUTION:Al killed steel containing 0.001-0.010% C, <=0.6% Mn, 0.005- 0.20% Al, <=0.007% N, and 0.5-2.5 weight ratio B/N is hot-rolled and cold- rolled in the regular process. Subsequently, this steel plate is soaked within a temperature range of 730 deg.C-A3 transformation temp. by a continuous annealing system. After that, its quenching is executed at an average cooling speed of >=60 deg.C/sec from a temperature between a soaking temperature and 450 deg.C, to <=250 deg.C. In this way, it is possible to manufacture a deep drawing cold-rolled steel plate which is nonaging, excellent in its press workability and high in its hardenability in coating/baking.
