Abstract

PURPOSE: To let even anodic oxidation films be formed by opposedly disposing Al materials and cathodes in an electrolytic bath and spraying circulating electrolyte to the Al material surfaces by the specified method.
CONSTITUTION: Multiple bar-form cathodes 2 and Al materials 3 as anodes are opposedly disposed in the bath of an electrolytic cell 1 added with sulfuric acid or the like. The cathodes 2 have injection openings 4, 4, in which pipes 5 provided with injection orifices 6 are built, the positions of the holes 4 and 6 being aligned. Pipes 7 for intensifying spraying in the horizontal direction having injection orifices 8 are mounted further to the cathodes 2, said injection orifices 8 being positioned between the cathodes 2. The circulating electrolyte from the injection orifices 8 is sprayed onto the Al material surfaces by making the velocity of its injection higher than that from the injection orifices 4. Here, the positions of the injection orifices 8 are so selected as to be directed to the portions where the oxide films of the Al materials tend to be formed more through current supplying. In this way, the reaction heat of said portions is quickly removed and the anodic oxide films are evenly formed.
