Abstract
PURPOSE: To scheme to reduce frictional resistance by constituting the front water introducing part of the ship rear part screw in rear part standing, and jetting high- pressure air from the standing-up throat part and allowing high pressure air chamber to be generated between the water introducing flow to a screw in navigation.
CONSTITUTION: The water introducing part 3 to the propulsion screw 5 at the rear part of a ship body 90 is constituted in the direction of standing-up toward rear part, and high-pressure air which is supplied through a high-pressure air generating apparatus 9 and a pipe 12 is jetted from the standing-up throat part 7. In navigation, high pressure air chamber is formed between the water introducing flow which flows toward the screw 5, passing through the water introducing part 3 from the bottom of the ship 2 in the front half of the ship, and thus the reduction of the frictional resistance between the ship body is schemed. Accordingly, propulsion efficiency is increased.
