Abstract

The craft (1) is fitted with a gas generator (4). The gas is guided through a pipe to the underside of the craft and to a deflector (6) which guides the gas flow horizontally and towards the rear of the craft. The stern of the craft is scooped out into an arc so as to provide a friction free flow towards the stern of the vessel. The gas mixes with the water at the xit of the nozzle and aerates it into an emulsion. The emulsion is propelled towards the rear. The principle may also be applied to inflatable craft.
