Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect accurately the water level in wide range of atomic reactor by providing water level meter system enabling the atomic reactor water level detecting signal to correct corresponding to the recirculation flow rate.
CONSTITUTION: According to the operation results of precursor reactor, the rate Δ h of water level drop caused by recirculation flow rate is dropped in proportional to the ratio against the rated differential pressure of recirculation flow rate. Accordingly, the flow rate of recirculation pump 6 is meansured with the elbow differential pressure oscillator which is made use of an elbow section of pipe. After multiplying a gain with the ratio setting board, the add operation is performed with the adder 12 in order to correct the signal of water level detector 9. This correction enables the effects of water level drop caused by recirculation flow rate to remove. This enables the interlock which is preset at the rated water level to operate. The effect of dynamic pressure caused by recirculation flow rate on the instrumentation tube which detects reactor water level may be removed effectively.
