Abstract
PURPOSE:To monitor a water level with high accuracy, by calculating the specific volume of water of a reactor and steam in the reactor varying in accordance with the pressure in the pressure vessel of unclear reactor by operation and correcting the water level. CONSTITUTION:Difference between a standard water head of a pressure vessel 11 of a nuclear reactor and the waterhead in the reactor is measured by a water gauge 12. On the one hand, the pressure in the vessel 11 is detected by a pressure gauge 14 provided through a pressure introducing piping 13. This pressure signal is inputted to a specific volume operation circuit 181 and each specific volume of water and steam in the reactor and of water in the piping 13 is found. These data are sent to a water level operation circuit 182 and the water level in the reactor is found through the standard water head level and the specific volume of water at a standard temperature.
