Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately measure a flow rate of vapor, by each making the levels of condensation tanks communicated with a high pressure portion and a low pressure portion of a throttle mechanism identical in the high pressure portion and the low pressure portion, in this vapor flow meter in a type that the throttle mechanism is made perpendicular.

Condensation tanks 3, 4 are connected to high pressure and low pressure detecting holes 6, 7 installed to the throttle mechanism portion 2 through pressure guide pipes 8, 9 in the same levels as each detecting hole. Thus, the errors of the measurement of a flow rate can be ignored by making the diameters of the pressure guide pipes smaller because the errors are only the head difference of a diameter of the maximum pressure guide pipe even if vapor is condensed in the pressure guide pipes 8, 9 when the initial stage of measurement-that is, the temperature of meter forming parts is lower than a fixed temperature.
