Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.軸方向に延びる軸線回りに回転するトルク部材に加えられたトルクあるいは 上記トルク部材により伝達された動力を示す出力信号を供給する磁気弾性トルク ・動力検出装置であって、 上記トルク部材に加えられたトルクが正比例で伝達されるようトルク部材の表 面の一部に直接または間接に取り付けられたあるいは上記トルク部材の表面の一 部を形成する強磁性磁気ひずみ性変換器手段を有し、円周方向を緩やかな軸線と する事実上の1軸磁気異方性が付与されるとともに円周方向に磁気極性が付与さ れることによりトルクが上記部材に加えられたときトルクに伴って変化する磁界 を生成する磁気弾性活性要素と、 上記トルク部材の回転速度を示す周期で磁界を変調する磁性的に柔らかい材料 からなり、上記トルク部材と一体に回転するよう上記磁気弾性活性要素と磁気的 に連続する位置で上記磁気弾性活性要素あるいは上記トルク部材に直接または間 接に取り付けられた磁界変調手段と、 上記磁気弾性活性要素に近接しかつこれに対向する位置に取り付けられ、上記 変調された磁界の振幅を検出してこの振幅に反応するトルク表示出力信号を供給 するかもしくは上記変調された磁界の経時変化率の振幅を検出してこの振幅に反 応する動力表示出力信号を供給する磁界センサ手段とを備えた磁気弾性トルク・ 動力検出装置。 2.軸方向に延びる回転するトルク部材に加えられたトルクあるいは上記トルク 部材により伝達された動力を検出する方法であって、 円周方向を緩やかな軸線とする事実上の1軸磁気異方性が付与されるとともに 円周方向に磁気極性が付与され、上記トルク部材に加えられたトルクが正比例で 伝達されるように上記トルク部材の表面の一部に直接または間接に取り付けられ たあるいは上記トルク部材の表面の一部を形成する磁気弾性活性要素を提供する 工程と、 上記トルク部材にトルクを加えて磁界を発生させる工程と、 上記トルク部材の回転速度を示す周期で上記トルクが生成された磁界を変調す る工程と、 上記磁気弾性活性要素の近接位置で、上記トルク部材に加えられたトルクの指 標として上記変調された磁界の振幅あるいは上記トルク部材により伝達された動 力の指標として上記変調された磁界の経時変化率の振幅を検出する工程とを備え たトルク・動力検出方法。
