Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.以下の逐次工程:即ち、 a)液体マスキング組成物を車両フランジに対して適用する工程、 b)車両を塗装し、除去可能なマスクを形成させるのに十分な程度にマスキング 組成物を乾燥又は硬化させる工程; c)フランジからマスクを除去する工程;及び d)車両用窓を車両フランジに接着剤で結合させる工程 を含む、車両用窓を車両フランジに結合させる方法。 2.液体マスキング組成物を、少なくとも250゜Fの温度で硬化させる請求 項1記載の方法。 3.液体マスキング組成物を、少なくとも325゜Fの温度で硬化させる請求 項1記載の方法。 4.液体マスキング組成物を、0.005−0.05インチの厚さでフランジ に適用する請求項1記載の方法。 5.車両フランジが、金属支持体を含む請求項1記載の方法。 6.車両フランジが、プラスチック支持体を含む請求項1記載の方法。 7.車両フランジが、電着手段によって金属支持体に適用された錆止め被膜の 層を更に含む請求項5記載の方法。 8.除去可能なマスクを形成させるのに十分な程度にマスキング組成物を乾燥 又は硬化させる前に、車両を塗装する請求項1記載の方法。 9.フランジからマスクを除去する前に、塗料組成物を乾燥又は硬化させる請 求項1記載の方法。 10.以下の逐次工程:即ち、 a)液体マスキング組成物を車両フランジに適用する工程; b)第一塗料組成物の被膜で車両を塗装し、除去可能なマスクを形成させるのに 十分な程度に液体マスキング組成物を乾燥又は硬化させ、更に該第一塗料組成物 を乾燥又は硬化させる工程; c)第二塗料組成物の被膜で車両を塗装する工程; d)フランジからマスクを除去する工程;及び e)車両用窓を車両フランジに接着剤で結合させる工程 を含む、車両用窓を車両フランジに結合させる方法。 11.液体マスキング組成物を、少なくとも250゜Fの温度で硬化させる請 求項10記載の方法。 12.液体マスキング組成物を、少なくとも325゜Fの温度で硬化させる請 求項10記載の方法。 13.液体マスキング組成物を、0.005−0.05インチの厚さでフラン ジに適用する請求項10記載の方法。 14.車両フランジが、金属支持体を含む請求項10記載の方法。 15.車両フランジが、プラスチック支持体を含む請求項10記載の方法。 16.車両フランジが、電着手段によって金属支持体に適用された錆止め被膜 の層を更に含む請求項14記載の方法。 17.除去可能なマスクを形成させるのに十分な程度にマスキング組成物を乾 燥又は硬化させる前に、車両を塗装する請求項10記載の方法。 18.フランジからマスクを除去する前に、塗料組成物を乾燥又は硬化させる 請求項10記載の方法。 19.以下の逐次工程:即ち、 a)第一塗料組成物の被膜で車両を塗装し、該第一塗料組成物を乾燥又は硬化さ せる工程; b)液体マスキング組成物を車両フランジに適用する工程; c)第二塗料組成物の被膜で車両を塗装し、除去可能なマスクを形成させるのに 十分な程度に液体マスキング組成物を乾燥又は硬化させ、更に該第二塗料組成物 を乾燥又は硬化させる工程; d)フランジからマスクを除去する工程;及び e)車両用窓を車両フランジに接着剤で結合させる工程 を含む、車両用窓を車両フランジに結合させる方法。 20.除去可能なマスクを形成させるのに十分な程度にマスキング組成物を乾 燥又は硬化させる前に、車両を塗装する請求項19記載の方法。
