Description
Claims (10)
- 1.通信システムにおける動的チャネル割当て方法であって、前記通信システム は少なくとも2つの固定ベースステーションを有し、各々のベースステーション は移動する加入者と通信可能であり、前記方法は、前記少なくとも2つの固定ベ ースステーションにおいて、前記加入者によって送信されたアップリンク信号の 品質を評価する段階、 前記固定ベースステーションの1つから、前記評価された信号品質に基づき前記 アップリンク信号を受け入れる段階、そして 前記固定ベースステーションのうちの少なくとも前記1つを前記信号の評価され た品質に基づき前記加入者に対応するダウンリンク信号を送信するよう割当てる 段階、を具備する通信システムにおける動的チャネル割当て方法。
- 2.前記評価段階はさらに前記加入者によって送信された信号の信号強度を評価 する段階を具備する、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 3.前記選択されたベースステーションは前記加入者に信号を送信する必要がな い、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 4.選択されたベースステーションが受信するよう割当てる前記段階は加入者に とって透明な状態で行われる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 5.無線電話システムにおける動的通信割当て方法であって、前記無線電話シス テムは各々加入者ユニットに通信可能な複数のベースステーションを有し、前記 方法は、第1のベースステーションにより、第1のチャネルのアップリンクおよ びダウンリンク経路によって加入者ユニットに通信する段階、 少なくとも第1のベースステーションおよび第2のベースステーションにおいて 、前記第1のチャネルの前記アップリンク経路の相対品質を評価する段階、そし て前記第2のベースステーションによって評価された前記相対品質が前記第1の ベースステーションによって評価された前記相対品質を超える場合に前記第2の ベースステーションを前記第1のチャネルの前記アップリンク経路を受信するよ う割当てる段階、 を具備する無線電話システムにおける動的通信割当て方法。
- 6.前記第2のベースステーションは前記第1のチャネルの前記ダウンリンク経 路によって前記加入者に通信する必要がない、請求の範囲第5項に記載の方法。
- 7.前記第2のベースステーションが受信するよう割当てる前記段階はさらに前 記第1のベースステーションによって評価された前記椙対品質が前記第2のベー スステーションによって評価された相対品質を超える場合に前記アップリンク経 路の受信を前記第1のベースステーションに割当て戻す段階を具備する、請求の 範囲第5項に記載の方法。
- 8.前記第2のベースステーションを前記アップリンク経路を受信するよう割当 てる前記段階は加入者ユニットに透明な状態で行われる、請求の範囲第5項に記 載の方法。
- 9.動的通信割当てを有する無線電話システムであって、該無線電話は加入者ユ ニットに通信可能な少なくとも2つのベースステーションを有し、前記少なくと も2つのベースステーションは交換機を介して相互接続され、前記無線電話シス テムは、 少なくとも前記2つのベースステーションにおいて、前記加入者ユニットによっ て送信されたアップリンク信号の品質を測定するための手段、 前記交換機において、前記少なくとも2つのベースステーションの各々によって 測定された前記アップリンク信号の品質を評価するための手段、そして 前記交換機において、前記評価された品質に基づき前記少なくとも2つのベース ステーションのうちの1つを前記アップリンク信号を受信するよう割当てるため の手段、を具備する動的通信割当てを有する無線電話システム。
- 10.動的チャネル割当てを有する無線電話システムであって、該無線電話シス テムは各々所定のカバレージ領域を有する複数のセルを有し、前記セルのうちの 少なくとも1つは複数のマイクロセルを有するアンブレラセルとして動作し、少 なくとも2つのマイクロセルは前記アンブレラセルの対応する所定のカバレージ 領域と共通のカバレージ領域を有し、各セルおよびマイクロセルはその対応する カバレージ領域のための無線電話カバレージを提供するためにそのカバレージ領 域内にベースステーションを有し、前記無線電話システムは、 第1のマイクロセルに対応する第1のベースステーションによって、第1のチャ ネルのアップリンクおよびダウンリンク経路の双方により加入者ユニットに通信 するための手段、 前記第1のマイクロセルに対応する前記第1のベースステーションにおいて、少 なくとも第2のマイクロセルに対応する少なくとも第2のベースステーションに おいて、かっ前記アンブレラセルに対応する第3のベースステーションにおいて 、前記第1のチャネルの前記アップリンク経路の品質を測定するための手段、 前記交換機において、前記第2または第3のベースステーションのいずれかが前 記加入者ユニットと通信すべきかを決定するための手段、そして 前記交換機において、前記決定に基づき前記第1のベースステーションからの通 信の前記第2または第3のベースステーションのいずれか1つへの転送を開始す るための手段、 を具備する動的チャネル割当てを有する無線電話システム。
