Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect the living space of a seated occupant by forming a second member spanned approximately diagonally between the upper end part of a first bracket and the lower end part of a second bracket and making a fixedly set position of a beam member spanned approximately horizontally in the tunnel part of a floor member, flush with a part portion where the first and the second members of the second bracket are fixedly set. CONSTITUTION:When a floor member 2 is in such a state as not to be buckled by impact energy caused by a vehicle 24 during its side collision, input load is located at approximately same point as that of load point F. Moreover it can be surely transmitted from an input side 12a to an opposite side 12b by the first member 12 located approximately horizontally and the load transmitted by a beam member 14 fixedly set in the tunnel part 7 of the floor member 2 is distributed to other seats. Therefore the living space of a second occupant can be protected.

However, in such a vehicle seat, the vehicle or the like collides with the vehicle, particularly the side wall of the vehicle body such as the door on the side of the driver's seat, from the outside in a substantially perpendicular direction ( (Hereafter, simply referred to as "side collision")
At this time, in order to prevent the floor member from buckling, the floor member must be reinforced, which causes an increase in weight and a rise in cost, and improvement is desired.

Therefore, the present invention protects the living space of the seated occupant by reliably transmitting the impact load from the input side to the opposite side via the seat in the case of a side collision, and the impact load causes the floor of the automobile to be protected. Even if a member buckles, an automobile seat that protects the living space of a seated occupant by reliably transmitting the impact load from the input side to the opposite side through the seat due to the tilt direction of the seat tilted by the buckling. It is intended to be provided.

According to the structure of this embodiment, when the floor member 2 is not buckled as shown in FIG. 3 by the impact energy of the automobile 24 due to the side collision, the input load is the load input. The first member 12, which is located at substantially the same position as the point F and is located substantially in the horizontal position, can reliably transmit from the input side 12a to the opposite side 12b and the floor member 2
It is possible to protect the living space of the seated occupant by spreading the load transmitted to the other seat (not shown) by the beam member 14 fixed to the tunnel portion 7.

Further, when the floor member 2 is buckled as shown in FIG. 4 due to the impact energy of the automobile 24 due to the side collision, it is confirmed by the experiment of the applicant that the buckling portion is generated. Since it is known that the position 25 is close to the tunnel portion 7, the buckling causes the seat back 20 to move.
The upper side of the tilts outward. Thus tilted car seat 1
As a result, the second member 13 that changes to a position substantially the same as the load input point F and changes to a substantially horizontal position ensures the input side 1
3a can be transmitted to the opposite side 13b and the load transmitted by the beam member 14 fixed to the tunnel portion 7 of the floor member 2 is diverged to another seat (not shown), so that the living space of the seated occupant can be saved. It can be protected.

As described above, the vehicle seat of the present invention comprises a seat cushion frame held by a floor member,
A seat back frame held on both sides of the seat cushion frame, and a first bracket is installed upside down between the seat cushion frame and the seat back frame on the vehicle exterior side. Second brackets are installed vertically on both sides of the seat cushion frame and the seat back frame between the two frames, and the first member is substantially horizontal between the lower ends of the first and second brackets. The second member is installed substantially diagonally between the upper end of the first bracket and the lower end of the second bracket, and the beam member is installed substantially horizontally in the tunnel part of the floor member. Since the fixed position and the portion of the second bracket on which the first and second members are fixed are substantially the same, the floor member buckles due to a side collision. When it is not, the input load can be surely transmitted from the input side to the opposite side by the first member which is located at substantially the same position as the load input point and is located at the substantially horizontal position, and is fixed to the floor member. The beam member diffuses the transmitted load to other seats to protect the living space of the seated occupant, and when the floor member buckles due to a side collision, the seat leans due to the buckling. By the second member that changes to a position substantially the same as the load input point and changes to a substantially horizontal position, the load can be reliably transmitted from the input side to the opposite side, and the load transmitted by the beam member fixed to the floor member. It has a practical effect that the living space of the seated occupant can be protected by diverging it to another seat.
