Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ａ、　産業上の利用分野 本発明は、車両のトランクリッド構造に関する。
ｂ、　従来の技術とその課題 第４図は、従来の車両のトランクリッド構造を示すもの
である。
このトランクリッド構造によるトランクリッドｌは、ア
ウターパネル２の端部２ａをインナーパネル３の端部３
ａに重ね合わせてヘミング加工した後、この部分をスポ
ット溶接して固定した構成となっていた。
ところで、上記したような構造によると、スポット溶接
を施した部分のアウターパネル２に溶接打痕が残るため
、外観上見栄えが悪くなった。したがって、この溶接打
痕を除くための仕上げ作業が必要となるので、製造コス
トを増加させてしまう不具合があった。
本発明は、上記実情に鑑みてなされたもので、製造コス
トの低減を図ることができる車両のトランクリッド構造
を提供することを目的とする。
Ｃ９課題を解決するための手段 本発明では、上記目的を達成するために、アウターパネ
ルの端部をインナーパネルの端部に重ね合わせてヘミン
グ加工して成る車両のトランクリッド構造において、上
記インナーパネルの端部の近傍に上記アウターパネル側
にへこませた凹部を設け、該凹部を上記アウターパネル
に溶着した構成としている。
ｄ、　実施例 以下、本発明に係る車両のトランクリッド構造の実施例
について添附図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。
第１図〜第３図は、本発明の一実施例を示すものである
。
本実施例のトランクリッド構造は、車両ｌＯのトランク
リッド１１をアウターパネル１２とインナーパネル１３
等によって構成したもので、アウターパネル１２の端部
１２ａ　をインナーパネル１３の端部１３ａに重ね合わ
せて包み込むようにヘミング加工し、かつ、インナーパ
ネル１３の端部１３ａの近傍にアウターパネル１２側へ
大き（へこまして設けた複数の凹部１４の底部１４ａを
アウターパネル１２にスポット溶接している。また、ア
ウターパネル１２の外面には、従来と同様に、ガーニッ
シュ１５がボルト１６によって取付けられる。ガーニッ
シュ１５は、アウターパネル１２の溶接打１１７が覆わ
れる程の大きさで形成されている。
凹部１４は、第３図に示すように、アウターパネル１２
の外面に向いていないため、トランクリッド１１が閉め
られた状態においてはトランクルーム１８内に隠れ、ス
ポット溶接による溶接打痕１７は外部から見えない。
したがって、溶接打痕１７を除く仕上げ作業が不要とな
り、外観も向上する。
なお、上記実施例は、アウターパネルに複数の凹部を設
けるようにしたが、本発明はこれに限らず、一連の凹部
としても良い。
ｅ、　発明の詳細 な説明したように、本発明に係る車両のトランクリッド
構造によれば、インナーパネルの端部の近傍に凹部を設
け、該凹部の底部をアウターパネルにスポット溶接して
いるので、トランクリッドを閉めた際、スポット溶接に
よる溶接打痕はトランクルーム内に隠れて外部から見え
ないので、溶接打痕を除く仕上げ作業は不要になる。し
たがって、外観的に優れるとともに、製造コストの低減
を図ることができる。
さらに、凹部を設けたことにより、トランクリッドの強
度を向上させることができるとともに、溶接する地点を
インナーパネルの端部の近傍に位置させたことにより、
ヘミング加工した部分の補強を図ることができる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. アウターパネルの端部をインナーパネルの端部に重ね合
    わせてヘミング加工して成る車両のトランクリッド構造
    において、上記インナーパネルの端部の近傍に上記アウ
    ターパネル側にへこませた凹部を設け、該凹部を上記ア
    ウターパネルに溶着したことを特徴とする車両のトラン
    クリッド構造。
