Claims (4)
- 内周に複列の外側軌道面が設けられた外方部材と、
外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、および前記小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪を有し、外周に前記複列の外側軌道面と対向する複列の内側軌道面が設けられた内方部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材との両軌道面間に転動自在に収容された複列のボールと、
環状に形成される基部と前記基部から周方向に一定の間隔でその軸方向に延びる複数の柱部とを有し、隣り合う前記柱部と前記基部とによって前記ボールの外周面に沿う曲面を有するポケットがそれぞれ形成され、前記ポケットに前記ボールを保持する樹脂製の保持器と、を具備する車輪用軸受装置であって、
前記柱部は、隣り合う柱部に向かって突出する爪部を有し、
前記柱部の少なくとも一つは、先端から基部に向かう切り欠き部を有し、
前記爪部の先端部が、軸方向視で、前記ボールの中心を中心とする所定半径の基準仮想円と前記ボールの外周円とに囲まれる円環状の範囲に含まれており、
前記爪部の先端部には、前記ボールの中心から任意の半径の仮想円に沿った誘導面が形成されており、
前記柱部は、前記切り欠き部よりも内径側に設けられた内側柱と前記切り欠き部よりも外径側に設けられた外側柱とを有し、
前記内側柱の軸方向端面は、前記外側柱の軸方向端面よりも前記ボールの中心側にオフセットしていて、
前記仮想円は、前記ボールが隣り合う前記内側柱と前記爪部とを同時に接触する点を通る、
車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記ポケットが、前記基部を底部とする半球状の曲面と、前記半球状の曲面の縁から前記柱部の先端に向かって軸方向に延びる案内面とから構成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記所定半径の基準仮想円の直径が、前記ボールの直径の0.8倍以上1倍未満である請求項1または請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記保持器に前記ボールを組み込む際に、隣り合う前記内側柱と前記爪部とにおいて前記ボールが同時に接触する点を通る前記仮想円の直径が、前記ボールの直径の0.9倍以上1倍未満である請求項1から請求項3の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
