周囲温度より低い温度で液体を保持するように構成されたペイロード領域を形成する内壁と、
外壁であって、前記外壁および前記内壁は、前記ペイロード領域の液体へのアクセスを可能にする開口部を有する、外壁と、
前記内壁と前記外壁との間に真空断熱を生成するように構成された真空ポートと、
蒸気プラグであって、前記蒸気プラグは、ハンドルと、前記開口部に挿入されるネックと、ロックデバイスと、を有し、前記ロックデバイスは、前記蒸気プラグを所定の位置に固定し、前記球状デュワーが異なる方向に配向または回転されるときに前記蒸気プラグが抜け落ちるのを防止する、蒸気プラグと、
前記蒸気プラグの前記ネック内に埋め込まれた電子熱電対と、を備え、
前記蒸気プラグと前記ペイロード領域の内側部分との間に、ガスを逃がすための間隙が設けられ、
蒸気プラグの前記ネックは、蛇行経路を含む波形の部分を有し、前記蛇行経路は前記内壁を前記外壁に接続する、球状デュワー。 - 前記蒸気プラグの前記ネックの高さは、直線ネックチューブの高さ未満である、請求項10に記載の球状デュワー。
- 前記蒸気プラグは前記開口部から取り外し可能である、請求項10に記載の球状デュワー。
