Claims (9)
- 軽量バンパビーム(1)であって、
それぞれの端部(3)に車両のホワイトボディへの取り付けのための取り付け部分(4)を備えた、細長いU字形モノブロッククロス部材(2)を含み、
各取り付け部分(4)は、細長いU字形モノブロッククロス部材(2)の内側上面(5)と前記取り付け部分(4)のブラケット(6)との間に延びる2つの細長い補強手段(11、12)を備え、
前記2つの細長い補強手段(11、12)は、それらの間に空間(20)を形成するように互いに対して距離(X)を置いて配置され、前記距離(X)は、前記2つの細長い補強手段(11、12)の中間部分(13)において最小となり、前記細長い補強手段(11、12)は、くぼみ(16)をそれぞれ備え、前記くぼみ(16)は、各細長い補強手段(11、12)の長さの少なくとも60%にわたって延びることを特徴とする、前記軽量バンパビーム。 - 前記2つの細長い補強手段(11、12)は、少なくとも部分的に湾曲した内面および外面(14、15)をそれぞれ有し、それぞれの2つの細長い補強手段(11、12)の外面(15)は、互いに向かい合っており、前記距離(X)は、前記湾曲した外面(15)の中間部分(13)で最小となることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 前記2つの細長い補強手段(11、12)のそれぞれは、シートメタルから作られ、略U字形の形状を有し、細長いU字形モノブロッククロス部材(2)の取り付け部分(4)の内側上面および下面に対して直交方向に直立して取り付けられ、車両の長手方向に及ぶことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 前記細長いU字形モノブロッククロス部材(2)は、Uの字のそれぞれの脚部(2a)の各端部に、細長いU字形モノブロッククロス部材(2)の一部を形成しその大部分の長さまたは全長にわたって長手方向に延びるリム(7)をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 前記リム(7)は、ハット型軽量バンパビーム(1)を形成するようにその縁(7a)がUの字のそれぞれの脚部(2a)に対して平行に向くように、折り曲げられることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 牽引管(30)は、少なくとも1つの取り付け部分(4)の細長い補強手段(11、12)の間に形成された空間(20)の内部に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 前記牽引管(30)の少なくとも一部分は、それぞれの細長い補強手段(11、12)のそれぞれの前記くぼみ(16)に当接するように配置されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 前記牽引管(30)は、少なくとも前記くぼみ(16)と前記取り付け部分(4)の前記ブラケット(6)との間に延びることを特徴とする、請求項6または7に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
- 各取り付け部分(4)は、車両のホワイトボディに取り付けられたクラッシュボックスを形成することを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の軽量バンパビーム(1)。
