前記中間部分の外径側部位から前記筒部のほうへのびて前記ラビリンス隙間の外部へつながり、前記外径部における傾斜方向と反対側の外径縁と前記筒部との間で狭まった外側部分と、

前記ラビリンス隙間の広さは、前記外側部分と前記中間部分と前記内側部分とがこの順番で狭くなるように設定されていることを特徴とするものである。

Claims (1)
- 相対回転する2部材のうちの一方に装着される密封装置本体と、他方に装着されるシールフランジとを備え、前記密封装置本体が、前記シールフランジに摺動可能に密接されるシールリップと、このシールリップよりも外側に位置する筒部が設けられた構造を備える密封装置において、前記密封装置本体に、前記シールリップより外側に位置してラビリンスリップが設けられ、このラビリンスリップは、前記筒部と径方向に対向する前記シールフランジの端部と径方向反対側を向いてのびると共に先端が前記シールフランジと軸方向に近接対向され、前記筒部及び前記ラビリンスリップと前記シールフランジとの間にラビリンス隙間が形成され、
前記シールフランジは、前記ラビリンスリップの先端との対向位置より先端側で前記ラビリンスリップの側へ傾斜した外径部を備え、
前記ラビリンス隙間は、
前記外径部と前記ラビリンスリップの外側面との間を内径側へ斜めにのびる中間部分と、
前記中間部分の内径側部位からさらに内径側へとのび、前記中間部分よりも内径側において前記シールフランジの内側面とこれに軸方向に対向する前記ラビリンスリップの先端との間で狭まった内側部分と、
前記中間部分の外径側部位から前記筒部のほうへのびて前記ラビリンス隙間の外部へつながり、前記外径部における傾斜方向と反対側の外径縁と前記筒部との間で狭まった外側部分と、
を含み、
前記ラビリンス隙間の広さは、前記外側部分と前記中間部分と前記内側部分とがこの順番で狭くなるように設定されていることを特徴とする密封装置。
