Claims (5)
- モジュールが収容される導電性金属製のケースに取り付けられ、前記ケース内に収容されたモジュールと接続されるようにしたモジュール用コネクタであって、
前記ケースには、内部と連通し、コネクタ本体が挿入されるコネクタ挿入部と、該コネクタ挿入部のケース内部側開口内側面より張り出した接続用リブとを備え、
前記コネクタ本体は、前記コネクタ挿入部に挿入される金属製のシェルと、該シェルの外周と前記コネクタ挿入部の内周との間を封鎖する封止用樹脂とを備え、
前記シェルは、前記コネクタ挿入部のケース内部側開口に嵌り込んだ接続用フランジを備え、
該接続用フランジは、板厚方向に貫通し、前記ケース内と前記コネクタ挿入部内とを連通する連通部と、前記接続用リブのケース内部側開口縁部に圧接された導通固定部と、外周面より張り出した挟持部とを備え、前記接続用リブが前記導通固定部と前記挟持部とに挟持されていることを特徴とするモジュール用コネクタ。 - 前記シェルの外側に配置され、前記コネクタ挿入部の外側開口を閉鎖する樹脂製の外部カバーを備え、前記コネクタ挿入部内の前記外部カバーの端部と前記接続用フランジとの間に前記封止用樹脂が充填されている請求項1に記載のモジュール用コネクタ。
- モジュールが収容される導電性金属製のケースにモジュール用コネクタを取り付け、前記ケース内に収容されるモジュールとモジュール用コネクタとが接続されるようにするモジュール用コネクタの取付け方法であって、
前記ケースには、内部と連通し、コネクタ本体が挿入されるコネクタ挿入部と、該コネクタ挿入部のケース内部側開口内側面より張り出した接続用リブとを備え、
前記コネクタ挿入部に前記コネクタ本体を構成する金属製のシェルを挿入し、該シェルの外周より張り出した接続用フランジを前記コネクタ挿入部のケース内部側開口に嵌め込んだ後、
前記接続用フランジを加締めて前記コネクタ挿入部の開口縁部に圧接させ、
しかる後、前記ケース内部側より前記接続用フランジを板厚方向に貫通する連通部を通して前記コネクタ挿入部内に封止用樹脂を充填し、該シェルの外周と前記コネクタ挿入部の内周との間を封鎖することを特徴とするモジュール用コネクタの取り付け方法。 - 前記コネクタ挿入部に前記シェルを挿入し、該シェルの外周より張り出した接続用フランジを前記コネクタ挿入部のケース内部側開口に嵌め込むとともに、
前記シェルの外側に配置された樹脂製の外部カバーで前記コネクタ挿入部の外側開口を閉鎖し、前記コネクタ挿入部内の前記外部カバーの端部と前記接続用フランジとの間に空隙部を形成し、前記連通部を通して前記空隙部内に前記封止用樹脂を充填する請求項3に記載のモジュール用コネクタの取り付け方法。 - 前記コネクタ挿入部のケース内部側を上に向けて各工程を行う請求項3又は4に記載のモジュール用コネクタの取り付け方法。
