Claims (20)
- 物体の回転を検出する回転検出装置であって、
第1の信号を出力する第1の磁気検出素子と、
第2の信号を出力する第2の磁気検出素子と、
前記第1の信号と前記第2の信号とが入力される検出回路と、
を備え、
前記検出回路は、前記第1の信号と前記第2の信号とを補正するための補正値の生成と更新を行う自動補正回路を有し、
前記自動補正回路は、前記物体の回転の方向が正転方向から反転方向に変化する場合と前記物体の回転の方向が前記反転方向から前記正転方向に変化する場合との少なくとも1つの場合に前記補正値の前記生成又は前記更新を停止するように構成されている、回転検出装置。 - 前記検出回路は、前記第1の信号と第2の信号とから前記物体の回転角度を示す角度信号を出力する角度検出回路をさらに有し、
前記角度信号が示す前記回転角度が360°から0°に変化する回転の方向が前記正転方向であり、
前記角度信号が示す前記回転角度が0°から360°に変化する回転の方向が前記反転方向である、請求項1に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記第1の信号は正弦波信号であり、
前記第2の信号は余弦波信号であり、
前記検出回路は、前記第1の信号と第2の信号とにarctan演算を行うことにより前記物体の回転角度を示す角度信号を得る角度検出回路をさらに有し、

温度を検出する温度センサと、
温度の複数の値にそれぞれ対応する前記第1の信号のオフセットの複数の値を保持するメモリと、
をさらに有し、
前記温度特性補正回路は、前記保持された複数の値のうちの前記検出された温度の値に対応する値を前記第1の信号に重畳する、請求項5に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記検出回路は、
温度を検出する温度センサと、
温度の複数の値にそれぞれ対応する前記差動信号のオフセットに関する複数の値を保持するメモリと、
をさらに有し、
前記温度特性補正回路は、前記保持された複数の値のうち前記検出された温度に対応する値を前記第1の信号に重畳する、請求項5に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記検出回路は、
温度を検出する温度センサと、
温度の複数の値にそれぞれ対応する前記第1の信号の前記振幅に関する複数の値を保持するメモリと、
をさらに有し、
前記温度特性補正回路は、前記保持された複数の値のうち前記検出された温度に対応する値を前記第1の信号に重畳する、請求項5に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記検出回路は、

を有する、回転検出装置。 - 前記第1の信号は正弦波信号であり、
前記第2の信号は正弦波信号であり、
前記検出回路は、前記第1の信号と第2の信号とに基づき、前記物体の角度を示す角度信号を出力する角度検出回路をさらに有する、請求項11に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記角度信号が示す前記回転角度が360°から0°に変化した後に360°から0°に再度変化した場合、または前記角度信号が示す前記回転角度が0°から360°に変化した後に0°から360°に再度変化した場合に、前記自動補正回路は前記補正値の前記生成と前記更新の少なくとも一方を行う、請求項12に記載の回転検出装置。
- 前記第1の信号は正弦波信号であり、
前記第2の信号は正弦波信号である、請求項11に記載の回転検出装置。 - 前記温度特性補正回路が動作している場合には前記自動補正回路は動作しない、請求項11に記載の回転検出装置。
