Claims (2)
- 塗料を吐出するベル状のカップ(12)と、
前記カップ(12)を回転自在に保持する筐体(14)と、
前記筐体(14)に設けられ、前記カップ(12)の先端側外周縁(38)の径方向外側且つ基端側に位置し、シェーピングエアを先端方向に噴出して吐出された前記塗料をワークに飛ばす複数の噴出口(42a)と、を備える塗装装置(10)であって、
前記筐体(14)は、前記塗装装置(10)の正面視で、前記先端側外周縁(38)の径方向内側且つ基端側に前記塗料の飛行状態を調整する調整用エアを噴出する複数の調整用噴出口(44a)を有し、
前記複数の噴出口(42a)は、前記先端側外周縁(38)の径方向外側で周方向に沿って相互に独立して設けられると共に、前記複数の調整用噴出口(44a)は、前記先端側外周縁(38)の径方向内側で周方向に沿って相互に独立して設けられ、
前記複数の調整用噴出口(44a)は、前記調整用エアを先端方向且つ前記カップ(12)の径方向外側に傾いて噴出し、
前記複数の噴出口(42a)は、前記正面視で、前記噴出口(42a)から前記カップ(12)の先端側外周縁(38)に外接する外接接線を引いた場合に、前記外接接線よりも前記カップ(12)の径方向内側に傾いて前記シェーピングエアを噴出し、且つ前記シェーピングエアの噴出方向と前記カップ(12)の先端側外周縁(38)との交点を通る交点接線に対し、前記シェーピングエアの噴出方向の鋭角側の傾斜角度(α)が、30°以下の範囲内に設定されている
ことを特徴とする塗装装置(10)。 - 請求項1記載の塗装装置(10)において、
前記噴出口(42a)は、前記塗装装置(10)の側面視における該噴出口(42a)から前記先端側外周縁(38)までの範囲において、前記正面視で、前記シェーピングエアの噴出方向を該先端側外周縁(38)よりも外側に設定する
ことを特徴とする塗装装置(10)。
