また、本発明に係る別の自動車用押出成形品の製造方法は、自動車のドアフレーム(11)のフランジ(12)に嵌合する樹脂製の芯材(3)とドアガラス(10)をシールするシールリップ(6)を有するシール部(2)とを一体に有する押出成形品(1)の製造方法であって、第1押出成形機(21)に注入された合成樹脂によって第1金型ダイス(20)で芯材(3)が押出成形され、芯材(3)は第1冷却槽(25)を通過後、曲げ加工ローラー(22)によって所望する芯材の曲率半径R1の湾曲部の形状に曲がり、その後芯材(3)は曲率半径R3で曲げられた状態で第2金型ダイス(23)の直前まで送られ、第2金型ダイス(23)の内部に進入する前に直線状に伸ばされ、第2金型ダイス(23)の内部で直線状に進行し第2押出成形機(24)に注入した熱可塑性エラストマーによって芯材(3)の周囲にシール部(2)やシールリップ(6)を成形し第2引取機(28)を通過することによって押出成形品(1)を製造し、製造された押出成形品(1)は曲率半径R2の湾曲部が形成されることを特徴とする。
ただし、芯材(3)は曲げ加工ローラー(22)以降は第2引取機(28)で直線状に引取られているため、押出成形品(1)の曲率半径R2の湾曲部は、芯材の曲率半径R1の湾曲部より大きい曲率半径になる。
さらに、フランジ(12)に樹脂製の芯材(3)との嵌合を強固にしてドアフレーム(11)の曲率半径Rや直線に近い大きい曲率半径部分に追従するためには、樹脂製の芯材(3)は外周側壁部(15)と内周側壁部(16)とこれら各側壁部を連結する連結部(17)を備えた断面略U字形で、両側壁部(15),(16)の内側の少なくとも一方より保持リップ(4)が形成されることで、ドアフレーム(11)のフランジ(12)により強固に嵌め込みながら装着することができるので、押出成形品(1)の曲率半径R2がドアフレーム(11)の曲率半径Rや直線に近い大きい曲率半径部分にも、より強固に追従できることを特徴としている。
本発明に係る実施形態1の自動車用押出成形品の製造方法によって製造された実施形態1の芯材を有する自動車用押出成形品について、図面を参照して説明すると、図1に示す押出成形品(1)は、図4に示すように自動車のドアフレーム(11)の上辺部に取付けられ、図5に示す自動車のドアフレーム(11)のフランジ(12)に嵌合する樹脂製の芯材(3)とドアガラス(10)をシールする熱可塑性エラストマーのシール部(2)とを一体に形成した押出成形品(1)の断面図を示すもので、芯材(3)は外周側壁部(15)と内周側壁部(16)とこれら各側壁部を連結する連結部(17)を備えた断面略U字形からなり、両側壁部(15)、(16)の内側より熱可塑性エラストマーの保持リップ(4)が形成され、外周の少なくとも一部に熱可塑性エラストマーの被覆層(5)を形成し、芯材(3)の下側の側面にシール部(2)を形成し、シール部(2)の端部にはシールリップ部(6)が形成され、芯材(3)の上側の側面にボディシールリップ部(7)が形成されている。尚、保持リップ(4)の数量は必要に応じて形成し、両側壁部(15)(16)のどちらか一方だけに形成することもでき、芯材(3)の断面形状はU字形に限らず必要に応じてJ、L、I字形等の様々な形状に形成できる。

Claims (9)
- 自動車のドアフレーム(11)のフランジ(12)に嵌合する樹脂製の芯材(3)とドアガラス(10)をシールするシールリップ(6)を有するシール部(2)とを一体に有する押出成形品(1)の製造方法であって、
第1押出成形機(21)に注入された合成樹脂によって第1金型ダイス(20)で芯材(3)が押出成形され、芯材(3)は第1冷却槽(25)を通過後、曲げ加工ローラー(22)によって所望する芯材の曲率半径R1の湾曲部の形状に曲げられ、その後芯材(3)は直線状に伸ばされて第2金型ダイス(23)の内部に進入し、第2押出成形機(24)に注入した熱可塑性エラストマーによって芯材(3)の周囲にシール部(2)やシールリップ(6)を成形し第2引取機(28)を通過することによって押出成形品(1)を製造し、製造された押出成形品(1)は曲率半径R2の湾曲部が形成されることを特徴とした自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。 - 自動車のドアフレーム(11)のフランジ(12)に嵌合する樹脂製の芯材(3)とドアガラス(10)をシールするシールリップ(6)を有するシール部(2)とを一体に有する押出成形品(1)の製造方法であって、
第1押出成形機(21)に注入された合成樹脂によって第1金型ダイス(20)で芯材(3)が押出成形され、芯材(3)は第1冷却槽(25)を通過後、曲げ加工ローラー(22)によって所望する芯材の曲率半径R1の湾曲部の形状に曲がり、その後芯材(3)は曲率半径R3で曲げられた状態で第2金型ダイス(23)の直前まで送られ、第2金型ダイス(23)の内部に進入する前に直線状に伸ばされ、第2金型ダイス(23)の内部で直線状に進行し第2押出成形機(24)に注入した熱可塑性エラストマーによって芯材(3)の周囲にシール部(2)やシールリップ(6)を成形し第2引取機(28)を通過することによって押出成形品(1)を製造し、製造された押出成形品(1)は曲率半径R2の湾曲部が形成されることを特徴とした自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。 - 第2引取機(28)を通過した押出成形品(1)の曲率半径R2の湾曲部は、芯材の曲率半径R1の湾曲部より大きい曲率半径に形成されたことを特徴する請求項1、2のうちいずれか一つに記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
- 芯材(3)は第2金型ダイス(23)に侵入する手前で加熱装置(29)を通過し、第2金型ダイス(8)の内部に進入することを特徴とした請求項1から3のうちいずれか一つに記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
- 芯材(3)に使用する合成樹脂としては、タイプAデュロメータ硬さ(ショアA)が85以上のオレフィン系樹脂によって形成されたことを特徴とした請求項1から4のうちいずれか一つに記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
- 芯材(3)に使用する合成樹脂としては、タイプAデュロメータ硬さ(ショアA)が85以上のオレフィン系樹脂にタルクまたは珪灰石(ワラストナイト)等の粉体を20から50重量%混合した混合合成樹脂によって形成されたことを特徴とした請求項5に記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
- シール部(2)の熱可塑性エラストマーとしては、タイプAデュロメータ硬さ(ショアA)が50から85のオレフィン系樹脂の熱可塑性エラストマーによって形成されたことを特徴とした請求項1から6のうちいずれか一つに記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
- 金属、ガラス繊維または珪灰石らなる少なくとも1つの非収縮エレメント(13)が芯材(3)の内部に形成されたことを特徴とした請求項1から7のうちいずれか一つに記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
- フランジ(12)を嵌合する芯材(3)は外周側壁部(15)と内周側壁部(16)とこれら各側壁部を連結する連結部(17)を備え、両側壁部(15)、(16)の内側の少なくとも一方より保持リップ(4)が形成されていることを特徴とした請求項1から8のうちいずれか一つに記載する自動車用押出成形品の製造方法。
