Description
図1は、実施形態に係る車両用制動制御装置の構成を示す図である。車両用制動制御装置100は、油圧回路を媒介して制動力を発生させる既存のブレーキシステムに加えて、電気回路を媒介して制動力を発生させる、バイ・ワイヤ(By Wire)式のブレーキシステムを備えている。
次に、車両用制動制御装置100の基本動作について説明する。
車両用制動制御装置100では、モータシリンダ装置20やバイ・ワイヤの制御を行うECU50(図3参照)の正常作動時において、運転者がブレーキペダル11を踏むと、いわゆるバイ・ワイヤ式のブレーキシステムがアクティブになる。具体的には、正常作動時の車両用制動制御装置100では、運転者がブレーキペダル11を踏むと、第1遮断弁13aおよび第2遮断弁13bが、マスタシリンダ12と各車輪を制動するディスクブレーキ機構40a〜40d(ホイールシリンダ41FR,41RL,41RR,41FL)との連通を遮断した状態で、モータシリンダ装置20が発生するブレーキ液圧を用いてディスクブレーキ機構40a〜40dを作動させる。
図2は、制動力特性の例として踏力と減速度との関係を示す図であり、(a)は、液圧発生装置10のペダルストロークとペダルの踏力との関係を示す図であり、(b)は、モータシリンダ装置20のペダルストロークと液圧との関係を示す図であり、(c)は、(a)および(b)に基づき、踏力と車体の減速度との関係を示す。
図3は、車両用制動制御装置が有するECUの周辺構成を示す図である。図3を参照して車両用制動制御装置100が有するECU50の周辺構成について説明する。適宜図1を参照する。

Claims (1)
- 車両の制動力特性の切替え要求をする特性変化要求手段と、
前記特性変化要求手段による前記切替え要求に基づいた制動力特性を発生させる制動力発生手段と、
ブレーキペダルの操作を検知する操作検知手段と、
前記操作検知手段が前記ブレーキペダルの操作を検知されているときに前記特性変化要求手段が操作された場合に、前記制動力発生手段の制動力特性を変化させることを禁止する制御手段とを有し、
前記制動力特性は、前記ブレーキペダルの操作と制動力とが関係付けされている第1のモードと、該第1のモードよりも同じブレーキペダル操作に対しての制動力を大きくする第2のモードとを含んでなり、
前記制御手段は、前記第2のモード中に前記特性変化要求手段と前記制動力発生手段との通信が異常となった場合には、前記第1のモードに切替える
ことを特徴とする車両用制動制御装置。
