Description
(1) コネクタのハウジングのペグ取付スロットに、前記ハウジングを回路基板に固定するための金属板製のペグを先端から圧入することで、該ペグを前記ハウジングに取り付けたコネクタのペグ圧入構造であって、
前記ペグは、先端側から基端側まで一定幅の平板状の基板により構成され、前記ペグ取付スロットの内部に位置し前記ペグ取付スロットに圧入固定される圧入部と、前記圧入部の基端側に連続して位置し前記ペグ取付スロットの基端側開口である入口から基端側に突出する基端部と、前記圧入部の先端側に連続して位置し前記ペグ取付スロットの先端側開口である出口から先端側に突出する先端部と、からなり、
前記ペグの前記基端部に、前記ペグ取付スロットの前記入口が開口する前記ハウジングの端壁に突き当たることで、前記ペグの圧入位置を規制する圧入位置規制突起を設けたこと。
(2) コネクタのハウジングのペグ取付スロットに、前記ハウジングを回路基板に固定するための金属板製のペグを先端から圧入することで、該ペグを前記ハウジングに取り付けたコネクタのペグ圧入構造であって、
前記ペグの前記ペグ取付スロットに対する圧入部よりも基端側に、前記ペグ取付スロットの入口が開口する前記ハウジングの端壁に突き当たることで、前記ペグの圧入位置を規制する圧入位置規制突起を設け、
前記圧入位置規制突起として、前記ペグの基板に、該ペグの圧入方向に向けて徐々に前記基板との間隔が広がる斜めの切り起こし片を設け、この切り起こし片の先端が、前記ペグ取付スロットの入口が開口する前記ハウジングの端壁に突き当たるようにしたこと。
(3) 上記(1)又は(2)の構成のコネクタのペグ圧入構造において、
前記ペグが、前記回路基板のスルーホールに挿入固定されることで同時に該回路基板のアース回路に接続されるものであり、該ペグの基端側が、前記コネクタと相手側コネクタとを嵌合したときに、該相手側コネクタに設けられたアース用の部材に接触導通する部分として構成されていること。
上記(2)の構成のペグ圧入構造によれば、圧入位置規制突起として斜めの切り起こし片を設けたので、簡単な構成で確実にペグの圧入位置を規制することができる。
上記(3)の構成のペグ圧入構造によれば、ペグを用いて相手側コネクタのアース接続を行う場合に、相手側コネクタに設けたアース用部材を、適正に位置規制されたペグの基端側に接触導通させればよいので、信頼性の高いアース接続を行うことができる。
図1は実施形態のペグ圧入構造が含まれるコネクタ装置の分解斜視図、図2は本発明の実施形態のペグ圧入構造が含まれるコネクタ装置の嵌合時の状態を示す斜視図、図3は図2のIII部に適用された実施形態のペグ圧入構造部分の拡大断面図、図4は本発明の実施形態のペグ圧入構造が含まれるコネクタ装置の嵌合時の状態を示す側面図、図5は図4のV−V矢視断面図、図6は図5のVI部の拡大図である。
基板側コネクタ1を組み立てる場合は、まず、オスハウジング10にオス端子18を圧入すると共に、図3に示すように、ペグ20をオスハウジング10のペグ取付スロット13に圧入する。このペグ20の圧入の際に、圧入位置規制突起28が固定ブロック部12の端壁14に突き当たることで、ペグ20を適正位置まで圧入することができ、押し込み過ぎを防止することができる。

Claims (3)
- コネクタのハウジングのペグ取付スロットに、前記ハウジングを回路基板に固定するための金属板製のペグを先端から圧入することで、該ペグを前記ハウジングに取り付けたコネクタのペグ圧入構造であって、
前記ペグは、先端側から基端側まで一定幅の平板状の基板により構成され、前記ペグ取付スロットの内部に位置し前記ペグ取付スロットに圧入固定される圧入部と、前記圧入部の基端側に連続して位置し前記ペグ取付スロットの基端側開口である入口から基端側に突出する基端部と、前記圧入部の先端側に連続して位置し前記ペグ取付スロットの先端側開口である出口から先端側に突出する先端部と、からなり、
前記ペグの前記基端部に、前記ペグ取付スロットの前記入口が開口する前記ハウジングの端壁に突き当たることで、前記ペグの圧入位置を規制する圧入位置規制突起を設けたことを特徴とするコネクタのペグ圧入構造。 - コネクタのハウジングのペグ取付スロットに、前記ハウジングを回路基板に固定するための金属板製のペグを先端から圧入することで、該ペグを前記ハウジングに取り付けたコネクタのペグ圧入構造であって、
前記ペグの前記ペグ取付スロットに対する圧入部よりも基端側に、前記ペグ取付スロットの入口が開口する前記ハウジングの端壁に突き当たることで、前記ペグの圧入位置を規制する圧入位置規制突起を設け、
前記圧入位置規制突起として、前記ペグの基板に、該ペグの圧入方向に向けて徐々に前記基板との間隔が広がる斜めの切り起こし片を設け、この切り起こし片の先端が、前記ペグ取付スロットの入口が開口する前記ハウジングの端壁に突き当たるようにしたことを特徴とするコネクタのペグ圧入構造。 - 前記ペグが、前記回路基板のスルーホールに挿入固定されることで同時に該回路基板のアース回路に接続されるものであり、該ペグの基端側が、前記コネクタと相手側コネクタとを嵌合したときに、該相手側コネクタに設けられたアース用の部材に接触導通する部分として構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタのペグ圧入構造。
