Description
一次干渉色:淡黄色、緑金色、金色、帯赤金色(reddish−gold)、赤色、紫色、灰紫色;
二次干渉色:黄色、金色、帯赤金色、赤金色、赤色。
(i)アルミニウムベースの基材粒子を、水性コーティング材料中で、少なくとも1つの金属酸化物層でコーティングする段階、ここで、この金属酸化物は、酸化チタン、酸化鉄、またはそれらの任意の混合物から選択される、
(ii)粒子状の無機非金属材料を前記水性コーティング材料に加えて、前記コーティングされたアルミニウムベースの基材粒子と該粒子状の無機非金属材料との混合物を前記水性コーティング材料中で提供する段階、および
(iii)前記コーティングされたアルミニウムベースの基材粒子と粒子状の無機非金属材料との混合物を、前記水性コーティング材料から分離して、この分離した混合物を熱乾燥段階に供して、乾燥有色エフェクト顔料材料を得る段階。
FeO(OH)、Fe2O3・H2O、Fe2O3・nH2O[式中、nは2以上である]、Fe(OH)3、Fe(OH)2、
または、それらのヒドロキシルを含む2つもしくは複数の酸化鉄の混合物であってよい。
TiO(OH)2、TiO2・nH2O[式中、nは1以上である]、
または、それらのヒドロキシルを含む2つもしくは複数の酸化チタンの混合物であってもよい。
エフェクト顔料試料E1〜E3の製造
SiO2不動態化層を有するアルミニウム小板(EP0708154の例1の段階(a)により製造したもの)を、水中に分散する。
Claims (14)
- 有色エフェクト顔料の製造方法であって、以下の段階:
(i)アルミニウムベースの基材粒子を、水性コーティング材料中で、少なくとも1つの金属酸化物層でコーティングする段階、ここで、該金属酸化物は、酸化チタン、酸化鉄、またはそれらの任意の混合物から選択される、
(ii)粒子状の無機非金属材料を前記水性コーティング材料に加えて、前記コーティングされたアルミニウムベースの基材粒子と該粒子状の無機非金属材料との混合物を前記水性コーティング材料中で提供する段階、および
(iii)前記コーティングされたアルミニウムベースの基材粒子と粒子状の無機非金属材料との混合物を、前記水性コーティング材料から分離して、該分離した混合物を熱乾燥段階に供して、乾燥有色エフェクト顔料材料を得る段階
を含む前記方法。 - 前記アルミニウムベースの基材粒子が、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金の芯材から作られ、前記芯材は、任意に少なくとも部分的に1つまたは複数の不動態化層でコーティングされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記不動態化層が、金属ホスフェート層、または無機酸化物層、またはそれらの任意の組み合わせまたは混合物である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記金属酸化物層が、一次干渉または二次干渉をもたらす厚さを有している、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子状の無機非金属材料が、シート状もしくは層状ケイ酸塩、酸化アルミニウム、アルミノケイ酸塩、ガラス、パーライト、合成マイカ、ホウケイ酸ガラス、またはそれらの任意の混合物または組み合わせから選択される、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性コーティング材料に加えられた粒子状の無機非金属材料が、コーティングされない、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性コーティング材料に加えられた粒子状の無機非金属材料が、少なくとも1つの金属酸化物層でコーティングされる、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子状の無機非金属材料が、段階(i)の間に前記水性コーティング材料に加えられる、および/または段階(i)が実施される前に前記水性コーティング材料中にすでに存在している、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子状の無機非金属材料が、段階(i)の後に前記水性コーティング材料に加えられる、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子状の無機非金属材料が、前記コーティングされたアルミニウムベースの基材粒子の量に対して1質量%〜50質量%の量で前記水性コーティング材料に加えられる、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アルミニウムベースの基材粒子の平均粒度と、前記水性コーティング材料に加えられた粒子状の無機非金属材料の平均粒度との差が、30%を超えない、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングされたアルミニウムベースの基材粒子と前記粒子状の無機非金属材料との混合物が、前記水性コーティング材料からろ過により分離される、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記分離された混合物が、少なくとも150℃の温度での焼成による段階(iii)の熱乾燥段階に供される、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- さらに、段階(iii)の乾燥有色エフェクト顔料材料が表面変性剤と接触させられる顔料表面変性段階(iv)を含む、請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
