Description
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ16×6.5JJのリムに組み付けた後、空気圧220kPaを充填して、室内ドラム試験(ドラム径:1707mm)により、JASO C607に準拠してユニフォミティ(RFV)を測定すると共に、ドラム上を速度150km/hにて30分間予備走行させた後、ドラムを停止して荷重(4.85kN)を負荷した状態で1時間放置した。その後、再びユニフォミティー(RFV)を測定し、予備走行前後におけるユニフォミティ(RFV)値の差を評価指標とした。評価結果は従来例1の逆数を100とする指数により示した。指数値が大きいほど耐フラットスポット性能が優れていることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ16×6.5JJのリムに組み付けた後、空気圧220kPaを充填して試験車両に装着し、テストコースにて5名のテストドライバーによる官能評価を行った。評価結果は、比較例1を3点とする5点法で示した。この評価点が大きいほど操縦安定性が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (4)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備え、前記一対のビード部間にカーカス層を装架し、前記トレッド部における前記カーカス層の外周側に複数層のベルト層を配置した空気入りラジアルタイヤにおいて、
前記ベルト層を構成するベルトコードがスチールモノフィラメントコードであり、前記ベルト層の外周側に1本の帯状部材が連続的にタイヤ周方向に螺旋状に巻回されて形成されたベルトカバー層が設けられており、前記帯状部材はゴム中にスチールコードが埋設されて構成されており、前記ベルトカバー層は少なくともタイヤ赤道を中心にベルト幅の50%の領域において前記帯状部材の隣り合う周回部分同士が互いに接触しないようにタイヤ周方向に螺旋状に巻回された部分を有すると共に、そのタイヤ幅方向両端部に前記帯状部材の隣り合う周回部分同士が互いに接触または重複して周方向に螺旋状に巻回された部分を有し、前記帯状部材の隣り合う周回部分同士が互いに接触しない部分では前記帯状部材の隣り合う周回部分同士の間隔が前記帯状部材の幅の0.5倍〜1.5倍であり、前記帯状部材の隣り合う周回部分同士が互いに接触または重複する部分では帯状部材の長手方向両端部から周方向に巻き付けた少なくとも2周分が接触または重複しており、且つ、前記帯状部材の隣り合う周回部分同士が互いに接触または重複する部分の総幅がベルト幅Wの40%以下であり、前記スチールコードの荷重−歪み曲線が1%〜3.5%の歪み領域に変曲点を有し、前記スチールコードの50N〜100N荷重時の平均弾性率が25GPa〜100GPaであることを特徴とする乗用車用空気入りラジアルタイヤ。 - 前記スチールコードを構成するスチールフィラメントの断面積と前記スチールコードの前記帯状部材に対する打ち込み密度との積が0.8mm2 /cm〜2.0mm2 /cmであり、且つ前記スチールコードの前記帯状部材に対する打ち込み密度が5本/cm〜10本/cmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の乗用車用空気入りラジアルタイヤ。
- 前記帯状部材の幅が4mm以上12mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の乗用車用空気入りラジアルタイヤ。
- 前記帯状部材のタイヤ赤道に対する傾斜方向と、前記複数層のベルト層のうち前記ベルトカバー層と隣接するベルト層のベルトコードのタイヤ赤道に対する傾斜方向とが同じであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の乗用車用空気入りラジアルタイヤ。
