Description
交流を直流へ整流する整流器と、前記整流器により充電される充電装置側蓄電器と、搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器を充電するための充電カプラとを備えた充電装置が、前記走行経路に沿って複数の個所に設けられ、
前記搬送車は自己の位置と前記搬送車側蓄電器の残容量とを地上側コントローラへ報告する通信部を備え、
地上側コントローラは、前記搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器の残容量と搬送車の位置とに応じて、充電が必要な搬送車を選択すると共に、選択した搬送車へ充電カプラを選択して指定し、指定した前記充電カプラに接する位置で停止させて、充電装置側蓄電器から充電カプラを介して搬送車側蓄電器へ充電を受けるように制御する充電管理部を備えている。

前記搬送車が、通信部を介して、自己の位置と前記搬送車側蓄電器の残容量とを地上側コントローラへ報告するステップと、
地上側コントローラが、充電管理部を介して、前記搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器の残容量と搬送車の位置とに応じて、充電が必要な搬送車を選択すると共に、通信部を介して選択した搬送車へ充電カプラを選択して指定するステップと、
選択された搬送車が指定された前記充電カプラに接する位置で停止し、充電装置側蓄電器から充電カプラを介して搬送車側蓄電器へ充電を受けるステップ、
とを実行する。この明細書において、搬送車システムに関する記載はそのまま搬送車への充電方法にも当てはまる。
・ 搬送要求が多数発生している場合、1回当たりの充電量を減らして搬送車の稼働率を増し、
・ 搬送要求の発生数が少ない場合、1回当たりの充電量を増すことにより、充電による搬送効率の低下を防止できる。好ましくは、地上側コントローラは、充電を行う充電カプラを経由する走行指令の発生状況に応じて、充電カプラでの充電量を決定する。このようにすると、充電を行う充電カプラを経由する走行指令が多い場合、1回当たりの充電量を減らして、他の搬送車の走行を妨げないようにできる。なお搬送要求の発生状況と充電を行う充電カプラを経由する走行指令の発生状況の双方に応じて、充電量を決定しても良い。
(1) 蓄電器38から天井走行車8側へ充電するので、大電流で短時間に充電できる。充電のための停止時間は充電電流にほぼ反比例するので、大電流で充電すると天井走行車8の稼働率が向上する。
(2) 蓄電器38への電源には処理装置用の交流電源32を利用できるので、配線が容易である。蓄電器38から天井走行車8へ短時間で充電し、常時は交流電源32から蓄電器38へ充電することにより、充電に必要な地上側配線の容量を小さくできる。
(3) 1台の蓄電器38に複数個の充電カプラ10を並列に接続するので、複数台の天井走行車に一斉に充電できる。このため走行経路を充電のため塞ぐ時間が短い。
(4) 蓄電器38と整流器36とを地上側に配置するので、これらの部材を天井空間に支持する必要がない。
(5) イントラベイルート6毎に2〜数個の充電カプラ群を設け、インターベイルート4にも数個の充電カプラ群を設けると、例えば100m以下の走行で天井走行車は充電を受けることができる。そして充電管理部58で天井走行車の位置と2次電池などの残容量を監視するので、電池切れを起こす天井走行車が生じない。
(6) ロードポート26の直上部に充電カプラ10を設けるので、物品の移載のための停止時間を充電に利用できる。
(7) これらのため全体として、天井走行車が充電のためのみに停止する時間を短くし、天井走行車の稼働率を高くすることができる。
(8) 搬送要求の発生状況と該当する充電カプラを経由する走行指令の発生状況とに応じて、どの残容量まで充電するかを決定する。このため、搬送要求の発生頻度が高いときは1回の充電量を少なくして搬送車の稼働率を高め、充電カプラを経由する走行指令の数が多いときも、1回の充電量を少なくして他の搬送車の走行を妨げないようにできる。そして搬送要求の発生頻度が低いときと充電カプラを経由する走行指令の数が少ないときに、1回の充電量を多くすることにより、他の搬送車の走行を妨げないようにしながら次の繁忙期に備えて充電できる。

Claims (7)
- 蓄電器を電源として走行する複数台の搬送車を、所定の走行経路に沿って地上側コントローラの制御下に走行させるシステムであって、
交流を直流へ整流する整流器と、前記整流器により充電される充電装置側蓄電器と、搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器を充電するための充電カプラとを備えた充電装置が、前記走行経路に沿って複数の個所に設けられ、
前記搬送車は自己の位置と前記搬送車側蓄電器の残容量とを地上側コントローラへ報告する通信部を備え、
地上側コントローラは、前記搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器の残容量と搬送車の位置とに応じて、充電が必要な搬送車を選択すると共に、選択した搬送車へ充電カプラを選択して指定し、指定した前記充電カプラに接する位置で停止させて、充電装置側蓄電器から充電カプラを介して搬送車側蓄電器へ充電を受けるように制御する充電管理部を備えていることを特徴とする、搬送車システム。 - ロードポートあるいはバッファから成る移載ポイントに前記充電カプラが設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1の搬送車システム。
- 1個の充電装置側蓄電器に対して走行経路に沿って前記充電カプラが複数個並列に接続され、
前記充電管理部は、並列に接続された複数の充電カプラに接する位置に、複数台の天井走行車を同時に停止させて、同時に充電させることを特徴とする、請求項1または2の搬送車システム。 - 搬送車は天井空間に設けられた走行レールに沿って走行する天井走行車で、前記整流器と前記充電装置側蓄電器は地上側に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項3の搬送車システム。
- 前記地上側コントローラは、搬送要求の発生状況に応じて、前記充電カプラでの充電量を決定することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかの搬送車システム。
- 前記地上側コントローラは、前記充電カプラを経由する走行指令の発生状況に応じて、前記充電カプラでの充電量を決定することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかの搬送車システム。
- 蓄電器を電源として走行する複数台の搬送車を、所定の走行経路に沿って地上側コントローラの制御下に走行させるシステムでの搬送車への充電方法であって、
交流を直流へ整流する整流器と、前記整流器により充電される充電装置側蓄電器と、搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器を充電するための充電カプラとを備えた充電装置が、前記走行経路に沿って複数の個所に設けられ、
前記搬送車が、搬送車の通信部を介して、自己の位置と前記搬送車側蓄電器の残容量とを地上側コントローラへ報告するステップと、
地上側コントローラが、充電管理部を介して、前記搬送車の搬送車側蓄電器の残容量と搬送車の位置とに応じて、充電が必要な搬送車を選択すると共に、通信部を介して選択した搬送車へ充電カプラを選択して指定するステップと、
選択された搬送車が指定された前記充電カプラに接する位置で停止し、充電装置側蓄電器から充電カプラを介して搬送車側蓄電器へ充電を受けるステップ、
とを実行する、搬送車システムでの搬送車への充電方法。
