Description
Claims (3)
- 燃料を加圧する燃料ポンプと、前記加圧された燃料をエンジンの吸気通路に噴射するソレノイドバルブと、前記燃料ポンプから延設され燃料を所定圧力に調整する定圧室を途中に有して前記ソレノイドバルブに至る高圧燃料通路と、前記定圧室から延設されプライミングポンプを途中に有して燃料戻し管に接続される燃料戻し通路とを備えた燃料噴射装置において、前記定圧室はその上部空間の頂壁が前記ソレノイドバルブに向かう前記高圧燃料通路の開口部よりも上方位置にあるとともに、前記燃料戻し通路が前記高圧燃料通路の開口部よりも上方位置で前記上部空間にて開口しており、前記定圧室に溜まった気体を前記上部空間から前記燃料戻し通路を経て燃料タンク側に排出する燃料噴射装置において、前記プライミングポンプは、前記燃料戻し通路の途中で所定間隔を置いて側方から接続された2つのチェックバルブと、該2つのチェックバルブの開口側を覆ってポンプ室を形成する弾性素材によるカップ状の吸引・押出手段からなり、前記2つのチェックバルブの間にバイパス路が形成されて前記バイパス路に流体の通過を燃料戻し方向のみに制限する逆止弁を備えており、前記プライミングポンプ使用時に前記逆止弁が閉弁して流体を通過させず、燃料戻し時及び気体排出時には前記逆止弁が開弁して流体を通過させることを特徴とした燃料噴射装置。
- 前記定圧室は、調圧手段であるダイヤフラムの変位面が側方を向いて配置されて重力方向に直角なダイヤフラム変位方向の幅に対し上下方向の幅が大きい縦向きの空間を形成しており、その下部空間に前記燃料ポンプから延設された前記高圧燃料通路が接続されているとともに前記ソレノイドバルブに向かう高圧燃料通路が開口し、前記上部空間から前記燃料戻し通路が延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載した燃料噴射装置。
- 外形が略直方体に形成されており、前記略直法体の底面内側にダイヤフラムを前記底面に平行にして前記燃料ポンプが設けられているとともに、前記略直方体の1側面の内側でダイヤフラムを前記側面に平行にして前記定圧室が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載した燃料噴射装置。
