Description
本態様の新規なアルミニウムシリケート蛍光体は、一般化された式M3SiO5による二価アルカリ土類金属Mに基づき、電磁スペクトルの橙色−赤色領域で放出する。シリケート結晶構造において、シリコンをアルミニウムで置換することによって生起する荷電非平衡は、シリケート構造の二価金属を三価金属で置換することにより、補償する。本アルミニウムシリケート橙色−赤色蛍光体は、白色光照明システムの長い波長成分を提供する用途を有し、橙色−赤色照明システムが要望されるいかなる場合でも使用することができる。
a)望ましい量のアルカリ土類硝酸塩(Mg、Ca、Srおよび/またはBa)、三価希土類硝酸塩ならびにEu2O3および/もしくはBaF2または他のアルカリ土類金属ハロゲン化物を稀硝酸に溶解する工程;および
b)対応する量のシリカゲルを脱イオン化水に溶解し、第二の溶液を調製する工程;
c)工程a)およびb)の二つの溶液を約二時間にわたって混合し、その後、アンモニアを添加し、混合した溶液からゲルを作る工程
d)ゲルの形成に続き、pHを約9.0に調整し、ゲル状の溶液を約60℃で3時間にわたって連続的に攪拌する工程;
e)蒸発により、ゲル状の溶液を乾燥させ、その後、結果的な乾燥ゲルを約500〜700℃で約60分間にわたって分解し、酸化物を分解および入手する工程;
f)アルカリ土類金属ハロゲン化物を使用しないときには、一定の量のNH4Fまたは他のアンモニアハロゲン化物と共に冷却および粉砕し、その後、粉末を還元性雰囲気中で約6〜10時間にわたって焼結する工程
を含んでいた。本実験の還元/焼結温度は、約1200〜約1400℃の範囲にわたった。
a)望ましい量のアルカリ土類酸化物もしくは炭酸塩(Mg、Ca、Srおよび/またはBa)ならびに三価希土類金属酸化物(Y、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Pm、Sm、Gd、Tb、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb、Lu、Th、PaおよびU)、Eu2O3および/もしくはBaF2または他のアルカリ土類金属ハロゲン化物、対応するSiO2および/もしくはNH4Fまたは他のアンモニアハロゲン化物のドーパントをボールミルで湿潤混合する工程;
b)結果として生じた粉末を乾燥および粉砕し、その後、還元性雰囲気中で約6〜10時間にわたり、焼結運転を実施する工程
を包含することができる。還元/焼結温度は、約1200〜約1400℃の範囲にわたった。
Claims (1)
- 式(Sr1−x−yMxTy)3−mEum(Si1−zAlz)O5を有するアルミニウムシリケート蛍光体であって、
MがBa、MgおよびCaからなる群から選択される二価金属の少なくとも一つであり、
Tが三価金属であり、
0≦x≦0.4、
0≦y≦0.4、
0<z≦0.2、および
0.001≦m≦0.5
であり、
蛍光体は、さらに、F、ClおよびBrからなる群から選択されるハロゲンを包含し、ハロゲンがシリケート結晶内の酸素格子サイトに存在するように構成され、
前記三価金属TがY、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Pm、Sm、Gd、Tb、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb、Lu、Th、PaおよびUからなる群から選択される、アルミニウムシリケート蛍光体。
