Claims (3)
- 胴部及び底部を有しかつ一端が開口した有底筒状をなし、前記胴部が少なくとも封口加工部位及びそれよりも前記底部側に位置する電極合剤収容部位に区分され、前記封口加工部位の板厚が前記電極合剤収容部位の板厚よりも厚いニッケルめっき鋼板製のプレス加工品であり、二酸化マンガン及びオキシ水酸化ニッケルのうちの少なくともいずれかを主成分とする電極合剤が収容可能な電池缶であって、
前記電極合剤収容部位の設定板厚が前記封口加工部位の板厚の80%以下であり、前記電極合剤収容部位の最上部位置を始点とし前記設定板厚になる位置を終点とする領域にて、前記電極合剤収容部位の板厚が徐々に減少するように構成され、
前記電極合剤を収容したときにその上端面がくる位置に対応して、前記領域の終点が設定され、
前記封口加工部位と前記封口加工部位よりも小径の前記電極合剤収容部位とは、前記底部側にいくに従い径が徐々に減少するテーパ状をなし、かつ、前記底部側にいくに従い板厚が徐々に減少する段差部位により連結されている
ことを特徴とする電池缶。 - 前記電極合剤収容部位の板厚が、1mm当たり5%以上15%以下の割合で変化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池缶。
- 請求項1または2に記載の電池缶を使用して構成されたアルカリ電池。
