Description
Claims (16)
- 吸気部及び排気部と、
入口及び出口を有するコンプレッサと、
前記コンプレッサ出口及び前記エンジン吸気部間の導管と、
前記コンプレッサ出口及び前記コンプレッサ入口間の再循環導管と、
前記導管内に設けた弁と、
前記再循環導管内に設けた弁と、
前記導管内の弁と前記再循環導管内の弁とを開閉することによって、前記再循環導管内を流れる圧縮ガスの第1部分と前記導管内を流れる圧縮ガスの第2部分との比率を制御し、前記エンジン排気部の少なくとも排気温度を含む排出特性を調節するように構成された制御装置と、
排出特性を監視するとともに、排出特性を調節するために少なくとも前記2つの弁を開閉するように信号を前記制御装置に送るモニタと
を備えるエンジン。 - 前記コンプレッサを有する過給機を備える、請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記過給機は、ターボ過給機を含む、請求項2に記載のエンジン。
- 前記ターボ過給機は、入口及び出口を有するタービンを備えており、前記エンジン排気部は、前記タービン入口に接続され、前記タービンは、前記エンジン排気部からの排気ガスによって駆動されるとともに、前記コンプレッサを駆動させる、請求項3に記載のエンジン。
- 排気圧力を増加させるとともにコンプレッサブーストを減少させるよう適合された流量可変ターボ過給機を備える、請求項3に記載のエンジン。
- 前記コンプレッサ出口の下流側に通気口を有する、請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記通気口は、前記再循環導管内に配置される、請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- 一端部が前記エンジン排気部に接続されるとともに、別の端部が前記再循環導管の下流側において前記導管に接続されたEGR管路を備える、請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 排出特性を監視するモニタと、一端部が前記エンジン排気部に接続されるとともに、別の端部が前記再循環導管の下流側において前記導管に接続されたEGR管路とを備え、前記EGR管路は、EGR弁を有し、前記モニタは、排出特性を調節するために前記弁及び前記EGR弁を開閉するように信号を前記制御装置に送る、請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記エンジン吸気部において燃料を噴射するように構成された燃料噴射器と、前記エンジン吸気部における空燃比を調節するために前記弁の開閉を制御するように構成された制御装置とを備える、請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 一端部が前記エンジン排気部に接続されるとともに、別の端部が前記再循環導管の下流側において前記導管に接続されたEGR管路とを備え、前記EGR管路は、EGR弁を有し、前記モニタは、排出特性を調節するために前記弁及び前記EGR弁を開閉するように信号を前記制御装置に送る、請求項10に記載のエンジン。
- エンジンの排気特性を制御する方法であって、
コンプレッサ内で給気を圧縮すること、
前記コンプレッサの出口からの圧縮ガスが、給気と再循環した圧縮ガスとの混合物を含有するように、前記圧縮ガスを前記コンプレッサの出口から前記コンプレッサの入口へ再循環させること、
前記圧縮ガスの再循環を制御するよう弁を開閉すること、
前記圧縮ガスのエンジン吸気部への供給を制御するよう弁を開閉すること、及び
前記圧縮ガスの再循環と前記圧縮ガスのエンジン吸気部への供給との比率を少なくとも前記2つの弁を開閉して制御することにより、前記エンジンの排気部の少なくとも排気温度を含む排出特性を調節することを含む、前記方法。 - EGR管路を通って前記エンジン吸気部へ流れるEGR流量を制御することにより、排出特性を調節することを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記コンプレッサ内の給気及び再循環圧縮ガスの比率を制御することを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- エンジン吸気部で燃料を噴射すること、及び前記圧縮ガスの再循環を制御することによって吸気部の空燃比を調節することを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- EGR管路を通って前記エンジン吸気部へ流れるEGR流量を制御することにより、前記空燃比を調節することを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
