Description
Claims (49)
- 吸気口と排気口とを有するエンジンと、
入口と出口とを有するコンプレッサと、
前記コンプレッサの出口と前記エンジンの吸気口との間の導管と、
前記コンプレッサの出口と前記コンプレッサの入口との間に設けられ、前記コンプレッサの入口に圧縮空気を再循環させる再循環導管と、
前記再循環導管における流れを制御するためのバルブとを備え、前記エンジンの吸気口に供給される空気の温度を制御することを特徴とするエンジン排気温度制御機構を有するエンジン。 - 前記コンプレッサがスーパーチャージャに含まれていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記スーパーチャージャがターボチャージャを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のエンジン。
- 前記ターボチャージャが入口と出口とを有するタービンを含み、前記エンジンの排気口が該タービンの入口に接続され、該タービンが該エンジンの排気口からの排気ガスによって駆動され、該タービンが前記コンプレッサを駆動することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のエンジン。
- 排気圧力を上昇させるとともにコンプレッサブーストを減少させる可変形状ターボチャージャを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のエンジン。
- 前記タービンの下流の排気ガス後処理装置であって、高い排気ガス温度で該排気ガス後処理装置へ流入する排気ガスにより高い温度で作動する排気ガス後処理装置と、前記バルブの開閉を制御して該排気ガスの温度を制御する制御装置と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記排気ガス後処理装置が、前記高い排気ガス温度で該排気ガス後処理装置へ流入する排気ガスにより再生されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- 前記タービンの下流の排気ガスを前記高い排気ガス温度まで加熱するように前記制御装置とともに作動可能である少なくとも一つの補助ガス加熱アセンブリを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- 前記排気ガス後処理装置がディーゼル粒子フィルタを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- 前記排気ガス後処理装置が触媒装置を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- 前記排気ガス後処理装置がディーゼル酸化触媒を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- 前記排気ガス後処理装置がNOx触媒を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエンジン。
- ガスを加熱して、補助ガス加熱アセンブリが作動しない排気ガスの温度に対して排気ガスの温度が上昇するように作動可能な少なくとも一つの補助ガス加熱アセンブリを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリが前記エンジンの下流に配置されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリが前記エンジンの上流に配置されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリが抵抗加熱要素を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリが、燃料をガス流に噴射して専用バーナアセンブリ内で燃焼させるためのバーナ機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリが、触媒装置と炭化水素源と炭化水素噴射器とを含み、該触媒装置が、噴射された炭化水素を触媒酸化させることによりガス流温度を上昇させることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリが、エンジン遅延負荷を加えて前記エンジンを高い負荷条件で回転させて高い温度を持つ排気ガス流が生成されるようにするための排気ガス制限装置を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記補助ガス加熱アセンブリがマイクロ波機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のエンジン。
- 前記導管に設けられたチャージエアクーラと、前記バルブの開閉を制御して該チャージエアクーラから流出するガスの温度を制御する制御装置と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記コンプレッサの前記入口に接続されたチャージエア吸気口を含むことを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエンジン。
- チャージエアクーラバイパス機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエンジン。
- 前記チャージエアクーラバイパス機構が、前記チャージエアクーラの上流および下流の箇所で前記導管に接続されたラインを含むことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のエンジン。
- 前記チャージエアクーラバイパス機構が、一端部において前記エンジン排気口に接続されるとともに、他端部において前記チャージエアクーラの下流の前記導管に接続されたEGRラインを含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載のエンジン。
- 前記チャージエアクーラバイパス機構が、一端部において前記エンジン排気口に接続されるとともに、前記チャージエアクーラの下流の前記導管に接続されたEGRラインを含むことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のエンジン。
- 前記バルブの下流に配置されたチャージエアクーラを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記バルブの上流に配置されたチャージエアクーラを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記コンプレッサの下流の吐出口を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記吐出口が前記再循環導管に配置されることを特徴とする請求項29に記載のエンジン。
- 前記再循環導管が前記コンプレッサと一体的であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記再循環導管が前記コンプレッサの外部にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記エンジンの温度を監視し、該エンジンを所望の温度に維持するために前記バルブを開閉する信号を制御装置に送る温度モニタを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- 前記エンジンが空間に関連して設けられ、該エンジンが、該エンジンと該空間との間で熱を交換する熱交換器と、空間の温度を監視し、該空間を所望の温度に維持するために前記バルブを開閉する信号を制御装置に送る温度モニタと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジン。
- コンプレッサでチャージエアを圧縮することと、
前記コンプレッサの出口からの圧縮ガスがチャージエアと再循環圧縮ガスとの混合気を含むように、該コンプレッサの出口から該コンプレッサの入口へ圧縮ガスを再循環させることと、
圧縮ガスをエンジン吸気口へ供給することと、
を含み、前記エンジンの吸気口に供給される圧縮ガスの温度を制御することを特徴とするエンジン排気ガス温度制御方法。 - 少なくとも一部の圧縮ガスを前記エンジン吸気口の上流のクーラに通過させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項35に記載のエンジン排気ガス温度制御方法。
- 少なくとも一部の圧縮ガスをクーラバイパスに通過させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項36に記載のエンジン排気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記コンプレッサがターボチャージャのコンプレッサであり、該ターボチャージャがタービンを含み、エンジン排気ガスが少なくとも部分的に該タービンへ流入し、該タービンがエンジン排気ガスにより駆動され、該タービンが該コンプレッサを駆動することを特徴とする請求項35に記載のエンジン排気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記コンプレッサにおけるチャージエアと再循環圧縮ガスとの比を制御することを含むことを特徴とする請求項35に記載のエンジン排気ガス温度制御方法。
- コンプレッサの出口からの圧縮ガスの少なくとも第1部分が該コンプレッサの入口へ再循環されるとともに該圧縮ガスの少なくとも第2部分がエンジン吸気口へ流入するように、該コンプレッサの出口からの該圧縮ガスを分割することと、
前記コンプレッサにおいて前記再循環圧縮ガスとチャージエアとを圧縮することと、
を含み、前記エンジンの吸気口に供給される圧縮ガスの温度を制御することを特徴とするエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。 - 前記圧縮ガスの前記第1部分と前記第2部分との比を制御することを含むことを特徴とする請求項40に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記再循環圧縮ガスと前記チャージエアとの比を制御することを含むことを特徴とする請求項40に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記エンジンの排気口から前記エンジン吸気口へ少なくとも一部の排気ガスを再循環させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項40に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記再循環排気ガスを排気ガス再循環クーラで冷却することを含むことを特徴とする請求項43に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記圧縮ガスの前記第2部分の少なくとも一部をチャージエアクーラで冷却することを含むことを特徴とする請求項40に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記チャージエアクーラを前記圧縮ガスの前記第2部分の少なくとも一部に迂回させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項45に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記エンジンの排気口から前記エンジン吸気口へ少なくとも一部の排気ガスを再循環させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項45に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- 前記再循環排気ガスを排気ガス再循環クーラで冷却することを含むことを特徴とする請求項47に記載のエンジン吸気ガス温度制御方法。
- コンプレッサの出口からの圧縮ガスの少なくとも第1部分が該コンプレッサの入口へ再循環されるとともに該圧縮ガスの少なくとも第2部分がエンジン吸気口へ流入するように、該コンプレッサの該圧縮ガスを分割することと、
前記再循環圧縮ガスとチャージエアとを前記コンプレッサで圧縮することと、
前記コンプレッサの前記入口へ再循環される前記圧縮ガスの量を制御して、エンジン動作温度を維持することと、
を含み、前記エンジンの吸気口に供給される圧縮ガスの温度を制御することを特徴とするエンジン動作温度制御方法。
