Claims (3)
- 表面にトナー像が形成される像担持体が設けられた本体と、
前記像担持体との間で転写ニップ部を形成する転写ローラーユニットと、前記転写ニップ部へと用紙を案内する転写ローラー前搬送ガイドと、が設けられ、前記本体に開閉可能に取り付けられた搬送ユニットと、
を備えた画像形成装置であって、
前記本体は、前記像担持体の軸方向両端に形成されるローラー位置決め部と、該ローラー位置決め部の近傍に形成されるガイド位置決め部と、を備え、
前記転写ローラーユニットは、前記像担持体に当接して設けられる転写ローラーと、該転写ローラーを軸支する離間レバーと、を備えるとともに前記搬送ユニットに回転可能に支持され、
前記転写ローラー前搬送ガイドは、回転規制部を備えるとともに前記搬送ユニットに回転可能に支持され、
前記搬送ユニットは、前記転写ローラー前搬送ガイドを前記ガイド位置決め部側に付勢する付勢部材を備え、
前記搬送ユニットが開放状態から閉止状態に移行する際には、前記転写ローラーユニットが前記回転規制部に当接することで、前記付勢部材の付勢力による前記ガイド位置決め部側への前記転写ローラー前搬送ガイドの回転が規制され、
前記搬送ユニットが閉止されると、前記ローラー位置決め部との離間位置から係合位置まで前記転写ローラーユニットが回転するのに伴って、前記転写ローラーユニットが前記回転規制部から離間し、前記付勢部材の付勢力により前記転写ローラー前搬送ガイドが前記ガイド位置決め部に当接することを特徴とする画像形成装置。 - 前記離間レバーは前記転写ローラーの軸を軸支する軸支部を備え、前記回転規制部は前記軸支部により回転が規制され、前記搬送ユニットを閉止すると前記軸支部が前記ローラー位置決め部により位置決めされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記転写ローラー前搬送ガイドは長手方向の一端側において前記搬送ユニットに回転可能に支持され、他端側において前記搬送ユニットに回転可能かつ所定方向に移動可能に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の画像形成装置。
