Description

Claims (6)
- 車両推進システム(100)であって、
交流(AC)トラクション駆動システム(147)と、
直流(DC)リンク(114)を介して前記トラクション駆動システムに対して電気的に結合された第1のエネルギー貯蔵システムと、
前記トラクション駆動システムに対して電気的に結合されてそれからの電圧出力が高電圧側(124)及び低電圧側(128)を含む双方向ブーストコンバータ(120)を使用して前記DCリンクから結合解除されるようになった第2のエネルギー貯蔵システムと、
前記トラクション駆動システムが有効に機能する通常運転モードで車両が運転されている時に、前記第1及び第2のエネルギー貯蔵システムから貯蔵エネルギーを取り出すことを制御するように構成されたエネルギー管理システムと、
を含み、
前記第1のエネルギー貯蔵システムが、前記ブーストコンバータの高電圧側(128)に結合された第1のウルトラキャパシタ(140)を含み、
前記第2のエネルギー貯蔵システムが、前記ブーストコンバータの低電圧側(124)に結合された前記第2のウルトラキャパシタ(130)及び、前記ブーストコンバータの低電圧側(124)に結合された前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)を含み、
前記車両推進システム(100)が、前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)からのエネルギーを使用して前記第1及び第2のウルトラキャパシタ(140、130)を少なくとも部分的に充電するように構成された事前充電回路(152)をさらに含み、
前記事前充電回路(152)と前記第2のウルトラキャパシタ(130)との間を分極させるダイオード(132)と、
前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)からのエネルギーを受ける前記事前充電回路(152)から前記ブーストコンバータ(120)の高電圧側(124)に電流を流して、前記第1のウルトラキャパシタ(140)を少なくとも部分的に事前充電するのを可能にし、前記双方向ブーストコンバータ(120)の故障時に、前記トラクション駆動システム(147)に電力を供給するのを可能にするダイオード(150)と、
をさらに含む、
車両推進システム(100)。 - 前記第1の高比エネルギーバッテリ(110)が、ナトリウムメタルハライドバッテリ、ナトリウム塩化ニッケルバッテリ、ナトリウム硫黄バッテリ、リチウムイオンバッテリ、リチウムポリマーバッテリ、ニッケルメタルハライドバッテリ、ニッケルカドミウムバッテリ及び鉛−酸バッテリの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1記載の車両推進システム(100)。
- 前記第2のウルトラキャパシタ(130)が、前記第2の高比エネルギーバッテリ(110)の公称電圧定格よりも約2倍〜約25倍大きい電圧定格を有する、請求項1または2に記載の車両推進システム(100)。
- 前記ブーストコンバータは、2フェーズブーストコンバータであり、
前記トラクション駆動システムに供給される電力が、前記第2のウルトラキャパシタ(130)と、前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)との間で分配される際に、前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)のバッテリアンペア時が、所定の閾値以上である場合には、前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)に分配される電力に比べてより高い部分の電力が、前記第2のウルトラキャパシタ(130)に分配され、前記バッテリアンペア時が、前記所定の閾値以下である場合には、前記第2のウルトラキャパシタ(130)に分配される電力に比べてより高い部分の電力が、前記第1の高比電力バッテリ(110)に分配される、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の車両推進システム(100)。 - 前記直流リンク(114)に結合された電流センサ(164)をさらに含み、
前記エネルギー管理システム(120)が、前記電流センサからの出力を受けて、車両が前記トラクション駆動システム(147)が有効に機能する通常運転モードで運転されている時に前記第1及び第2のエネルギー貯蔵システムを制御するように構成される、
請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の車両推進システム(100)。 - 前記直流リンク(114)に結合された電圧センサ(162)をさらに含み、
前記エネルギー管理システム(120)が、前記電圧センサからの出力を受けて、車両が前記トラクション駆動システム(147)が有効に機能する通常運転モードで運転されている時に前記第1及び第2のエネルギー貯蔵システムを制御するように構成される、
請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の車両推進システム(100)。
