Claims (3)
- 光源として半導体型光源を使用するプロジェクタタイプの車両用前照灯において、
半導体型光源と、
前記半導体型光源からの光を反射させるリフレクタと、
前記リフレクタからの反射光の一部を遮蔽して残りの反射光でカットオフラインを有する配光パターンを形成するシェードと、
前記半導体型光源からの光を入射して導いてオーバーヘッドサイン用配光パターンとして出射させる導光体と、
前記カットオフラインを有する前記配光パターンと前記オーバーヘッドサイン用配光パターンとを前方に投影する投影レンズと、
を備え、
前記導光体は、入射面と、導光部と、出射面と、から構成されていて、
前記入射面は、前記半導体型光源に対向して設けられていて、前記半導体型光源からの光のうち、前記リフレクタに入射しない光の一部を入射するものであり、
前記導光部は、前記入射面から入射した光を前記出射面まで導くものであり、
前記出射面は、前記導光部により導かれた光を前記オーバーヘッドサイン用配光パターンとして前記投影レンズ側に出射させるものである、
ことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記導光体の前記出射面は、前記シェードの前記カットオフラインを形成するエッジの近傍に設けられている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。 - 前記導光体は、前記リフレクタおよび前記シェードおよび前記投影レンズを保持する保持部材と兼用である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用前照灯。
