Description
Claims (7)
- 照明装置の光源の外側に配置され、光源から放出された光を外部へ出射する照明装置用カバープレートであって、
当該カバープレートは、内部に光の散乱のための気泡を5〜35%の含有率で含有する光透過性樹脂材質よりなり、ここで気泡の含有率とは、単位体積当たりに気泡が占める体積の比率を意味し、
前記気泡は60μm〜700μmの範囲の平均直径を有し、
当該カバープレートは、光源と対向する光入射面と、光出射面とを有し、
前記光出射面に近接した側に配置される気泡の平均直径が、前記光入射面に近接した側に配置される気泡の平均直径よりも大きくなっており、
前記光源から放出された光を当該カバープレートの全面を通して拡散及び出射させることを特徴とする照明装置用カバープレート。 - 光源と対向する光入射面に所定の凹凸状パターンが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明装置用カバープレート。
- 前記パターンは、プリズム状、多角錐状、またはエンボス状よりなり、光入射面の全面にわたって連続的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の照明装置用カバープレート。
- ケースと、
前記ケースの内部に設けられて光を放出する光源と、
前記光源の外側に配置されたカバープレートと、を備えた照明装置であって、
前記カバープレートは、内部に光の散乱のための気泡を5〜35%の含有率で含有する光透過性樹脂材質よりなり、ここで気泡の含有率とは、単位体積当たりに気泡が占める体積の比率を意味し、
前記気泡は60μm〜700μmの範囲の平均直径を有し、
前記光源から放出された光を全面に拡散させながら出射させる前記カバープレートは、光源と対向する光入射面と、光出射面とを有し、
前記光出射面に近接した側に配置される気泡の平均直径が、前記光入射面に近接した側に配置される気泡の平均直径よりも大きくなっている、
ことを特徴とする、照明装置。 - 当該カバープレートが前記光源の側に撓むことを防ぐべく、前記ケースの内側に前記カバープレートの後方面を保持するように設けられた保持部材を更に備えてなる請求項4に記載の照明装置。
- 前記カバープレートの前方面または後方面に配置されると共に光透過性樹脂材質からなる補助拡散用樹脂板を更に備えてなる請求項4に記載の照明装置。
- 光源と対向する光入射面に所定の凹凸状パターンが形成されている請求項4に記載の照明装置。
