Claims (6)
- 正極板及び負極板を含む発電要素を電槽内に収容して該電槽の蓋に正極側及び負極側の出力端子を取り付けてなる蓄電池と、前記蓄電池の出力を入力として前記蓄電池の状態を監視する監視装置とを備えた蓄電池ユニットであって、
前記蓄電池の出力端子と前記監視装置の入力端子との間に起動回路が挿入され、
前記起動回路は、前記蓄電池に設定値を超える負荷が接続される前の状態にあるときにオフ状態を保持して前記蓄電池から前記監視装置への電力の供給を遮断している主スイッチと、前記蓄電池に前記負荷が接続された時に生じる該蓄電池の端子電圧の低下を検知して前記主スイッチをオン状態にするスイッチ駆動回路とを備え、
前記監視装置の構成要素が前記起動回路の構成要素と共に共通のパッケージ内に収容されることにより電池監視用モジュールが構成されて、前記電池監視用モジュールのパッケージが前記蓄電池の電槽の蓋の上面に設けられた凹部内に嵌合されて収容され、
前記起動回路を前記蓄電池の正極側出力端子及び負極側出力端子にそれ接続するための正極側及び負極側の電池接続用リード板が前記監視用モジュールのパッケージの一端及び他端からそれぞれ反対方向に導出され、
各電池接続用リード板は、前記起動回路の対応する入力端子に一端が接続された帯状部と該帯状部の他端に一体に設けられた環状部とを有して、該環状部が前記蓄電池の対応する出力端子に嵌合された状態で前記蓄電池の対応する出力端子に接続され、
各電池接続用リード板の帯状部の一部が屈曲させられることにより各電池接続用リード板の帯状部に緩衝部が形成され、
前記緩衝部の変形により各リード板の帯状部の伸縮が許容されるように構成されている蓄電池ユニット。 - 前記電槽の蓋の上面には、前記凹部に一端が接続され、他端が前記蓄電池の正極側出力端子の下端の近傍の位置に達している正極側リード収容溝と、前記凹部に一端が接続され、他端が前記蓄電池の負極側出力端子の下端の近傍の位置に達している負極側リード収容溝とが形成され、
前記正極側電池接続用リード板の帯状部及び負極側電池接続用リード板の帯状部がそれぞれ前記正極側リード収容溝内及び負極側リード収容溝内に収容されている請求項1に記載の蓄電池ユニット。 - 前記蓄電池の出力端子は、上端が下端よりも小さい外径を有するようにテーパがつけられた形状に形成され、
前記正極側リード板及び負極側リード板のそれぞれの環状部は、前記正極側出力端子及び負極側出力端子の下端の外径よりも小さく、前記正極側出力端子及び負極側出力端子の上端の外径よりは大きい内径を有している請求項1に記載の蓄電池ユニット。 - 前記各リード板の環状部の内周部には該環状部の径方向に伸びるスリットが該環状部の周方向に間隔を開けて複数設けられている請求項1に記載の蓄電池ユニット。
- 前記電槽の蓋に設けられた凹部内に収容された監視用モジュールのパッケージの上面を前記電槽の蓋の上面と同一平面上に位置させるように前記パッケージの厚さが設定されている請求項1に記載の蓄電池ユニット。
- 前記電槽の蓋に設けられた凹部内に収容された監視用モジュールのパッケージの上面を前記電槽の蓋の上面と同一平面上に位置させるように前記パッケージの厚さが設定され、 前記電槽の蓋の上面と前記パッケージの上面との境界部がフィルムにより被覆されている請求項1に記載の蓄電池ユニット。
