Claims (2)
- 単一のシフトフォークにより変速可能に構成された歯車式変速機構のチェンジレバー軸を、プッシュプルケーブルを介して操作するシフトレバー装置であって、
揺動自在に設けられ、前記プッシュプルケーブルに連動連結されたシフト操作レバーと、
該シフト操作レバーの中途部の周囲を囲うように設けられ、前記シフト操作レバーの変速動作を案内するゲートと
を備え、
前記ゲートは、
前記シフト操作レバーを、前記プッシュプルケーブルを押し引きする方向に案内するメイン通路と、該メイン通路に沿って設けられた複数の変速位置からそれぞれ分岐して、前記シフト操作レバーを各変速位置に固定する複数のサブ通路とを備え、該複数のサブ通路が前記メイン通路から実質的に直角に延びていて、そのうちのひとつが前記変速機構のニュートラル位置に対応するニュートラル通路であり、
該ニュートラル通路以外の他のサブ通路の少なくともいずれかにおいて、ニュートラル通路から遠い側には、前記シフト操作レバーがニュートラル通路から遠い側に大きく動くように拡大部が設けられている一方、前記ニュートラル通路に近い側には前記シフト操作レバーを保持するためのポケット部が設けられている
ことを特徴とする車両のシフトレバー装置。 - 前記メイン通路が実質的に前後方向に延びていて、該メイン通路の左右の一方側に前記複数のサブ通路が延びている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両のシフトレバー装置。
